The Hrebienok ski area above Starý Smokovec (access via a cableway) is quite limited as it does not extend very far up the Slavkovsky Stit Mountain (2542m). However, other ski resorts are all around and so visitors tend to visit several, either by car or on touring skis. There are magnificent views of the High Tatras massif.
