The 2010 rope-tow at Roundhill gives access to a large area of off-piste. Even on one of the busiest days of the season, when queues for the T-bar were 50 people deep, hardly anyone was using the rope and routes down out-wide remained untracked. Mount Cook is visible on the skyline.
