Powder King, in Canada (BC), is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts (1 chair lifts, 2 surface lift) but it does boast a very impressive 640 metres (2101 feet) of vertical descent. Powder King has 37 trails. Powder King is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. I am fortunate to live within an hour of PK (Powder King). I ski 50-55 days a year and seldom am I disappointed. Since the new owners purchased PK, it is continually improving. It is twice as big as originally and much better maintained. There is no luxury but often a pile of beautiful powder.

By the way, you could not smoke in the pub 20 years ago.
