Popocatepetl has great skiing, but watch out for the crater at the top. It is inconveniently situated in the middle of the resorts best red run.

Popo is currently closed due to noxious gasses from the crater. A great view of the snowcapped peak can be had from the top floor of the Holiday Inn Express in Puebla!
