Visitor Reviews of Passo Lanciano - Majelletta

Gal from UNITED KINGDOM writes:

Small but perfectly formed. All skiing is done through the trees and a lovely blue run should have most beginners skiing / boarding from top to bottom within a day or so. There are more challenging reds that will get your thighs burning between the three man chair lift and the blue but the most challenging run is the cleared path under the chair lift itself.

There is a nursery slope at the top of the three man chair covered by a short drag lift. Also at the top is a small board park and at the bottom there is a snow park for the tots. There are a couple of hire shops at the bottom of the lifts and a number of bars and cafe's. This being Italy the slopes empty at 12.30 and the bars fill up. Weekends get busy but on weekdays you will the share the entire resort with a couple of hundred people.

Very child friendly, all runs end up in the same place so very difficult to get lost. After a couple of runs my kids spent more time crashing about in the trees than they did in the piste. Not a week long destination but if you're in the area well worth a visit
