  I drove up to the top of the pass (Passo Stelvio) in July 2009. My first time driving in Europe. My first time driving a left hand drive car. Definitely not my last. The drive up from Prato Allo Stelvio, around all the hairpins was exciting. The view from the top was awesome. The trip down to Bormio was beautiful with the sun beaming down into the valley. After a few drinks and a meal, I headed back up again and discovered the short cut into Switzerland. That was simply scary! Can't wait to head back some time - next time on a mountain bike for sure!

  I was at Passo Stelvio during the first week of July. It was great. I had a wonderful time. The drive up to the pass was incredible and there is now a Canadian flag sticker on the marker of the pass (I put it there).
  At the pass I felt I was in Gods country. I was at peace with my soul.
  I will go back to Passo Stelvio.

  It's a pity that the pass is closed during the winter. Especially at that time there is enough snow. In the summer months the amount of snow is very less and the slopes are messy due to the temperature. But then the pass is beautiful to drive with its 48 hairpins at the Ost-Tirol side the nice road to Bormio at the other side of the mountain. I would I could be there now.

  In Agosto 2007 ho avuto occasione di transitare e soggiornare al Passo dello Stelvio con la mia macchina d'epoca partendo a S.Mortiz. E' stata un emozione unica affrontare i tornanti all'imbrunire e ancor di più pernottare all'Albergo Folgore dove ho trovato un ambiente accogliente e famigliare.
  Se la mia Aston Martin me lo permetterà ci ritornerò l'estate prossima.
