This resort is a bit of the beaten track, which is just part of the appeal. They have some super package deals and you get some great powder there. Search 'ikenotaira onsen' for more details or try http://myoko-nojiri.com/ski. htm. They also seem quite relaxed about skiing off-piste. I've had some awesome runs through the trees and under the chairlift and no-one has ever batted an eyelid. Highly recommended - one of my favourites.
