Morillon Ski Resort Guide
Morillon is located in the French Northern Alps in the Haute Savoie, between Geneva, Chamonix-Mont Blanc and the Les Portes du Soleil ski areas. Together with Samoëns, Sixt and Les Carroz they make up the Massif ski area, offering a total of 125 km of slopes and 42 ski lifts. The Grand Massif ski area includes Flaine amounting to a total ski area of 265 km with 73 lifts. Morillon has two parts and you may skin in and out of either Morillon village at about 900 metres and Morillon 1100. Morillon itself has 16 trails and 12 lifts.

This was our second visit to Morillon. We stayed up at 1100 in the very pleasant Chalet Morillon, a good location and only 100 metres to the gondola. The only problem we had was the poor snow conditions and a few of the pistes were closed through lack of snow.
Still a very nice area with very good ESF ski tuition with which my daughter passed her third star.
