Lofer Ski Resort Guide
Lofer in Austria (in the Salzburg region) is a large resort with 13 lifts (2 gondolas, 2 chair lifts, 9 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1030 metres (3379 feet) of vertical descent. Lofer has 46 kilometers (29 miles) of pistes. Lofer is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. We come to Lofer every couple of years. Friends from U.S.A. Canada,Scotland, Germany and Holland join us at Villa-Egger with Hosts Seppi Farbinger and his neice Claudia Pfeiffenberger. I guarantee you will love this accommodation. The skiing is twice as good as Australia and is half the price.
