Le Mont-Dore is located at the foot of the magnificent Puy de Sancy (1,886m high), the highest summit in the Massif Central. Now linked with nearby Super Besse, the two resorts share 85km of runs for all abilities, with 42km of runs at Mt Dore if the link lift via Ferrand is closed. The ski area opens as soon as snow cover permits. Officially, the season is from 17/12/05 to 23/04/06. Night skiing from 17h00 to 21h00, every Saturday and every day during school holidays.
