La Grave-La Meije is surely the most legendary ski area in the Alps, perhaps in the world. La Grave-La Meije is no ordinary ski resort. It's steep off-piste offers expert skiers and borders some of the best lift-accessed terrain in the world, with 2150m of continuous vertical. But La Grave-La Meije is a place that demands respect.

Visitor Reviews of La Grave-La Meije
david hemingway from United Kingdom writes:
Lifts are old and slow and route finding is near impossible. There is one piste and it's very short. If it's your first time a guide isn't a luxury it's essential, especially if the weather is changeable and you risk white outs.
That said it's the most incredible place I've boarded in 25 years.
