La Tania Ski Resort Guide
La Tania is a small, friendly resort that is quiet and relaxing but provides easy access to Les 3 Vallées; the biggest linked ski area in the world. Skiing in the 3 valleys has something for everyone and you won't get bored. Facilities are excellent. La Tania itself is quieter and cheaper than its neighbours such as Meribel. Night-life is quiet too but you can get taxis from La Tania to the bigger centres if you desire. All in all, La Tania is a good option for cheaper access to the 3 valley resort area.

Just got back from a week skiing in 3 valleys - wonderful weather and good skiing on the tops. La Tania is a great family village but due to the exceptionally warm spring weather, the snow had all gone so no snow on the runs down to La Tania, but we could get access to good snow via the bubble. Drove round to Meribel on 3 days to speed up access to Val Thorens where the snow was very good.
Drove from Calais, which is 600 miles and took 9 1/2 hours.

7 out of the 8 lifts in the La Tania sector of the Courchevel Valley are now open and 12 out of the 13 pistes. Exceptions are the little used Gros Murger long drag lift and the bottom section of the red run in to resort the Morretta Blanche - expect these next week though!
