The best heliski is in Dombay - not in Krasnaya Polyana...Try this - and then compare...I was there with Alpindustria - it is really worth doing! Heliski in the Caucasus is a must.......Next time I am going to heliski Elbrus........

Still a lot of work to do before they can host the Olympics, but a fabulous place if the weather works out and you want to heli-ski. We went for three days and ended up with two days in the helicopter. However, in February, they had two weeks where they didn't fly one day.
The 'resort' is.....errrr.....quiet. Any apres-ski is at the bars at the base of the 'old' lifts, but the skiing is limited if you want to stick to pistes.
All in all, an off-piste skiers paradise, if the conditions allow. A sense of adventure is a must!
