Kranjska Gora is a narrow valley situated between the Julian Alps and the Karavanke, in the, utmost, northwestern part of Slovenia, close to our borders with both Austria and Italy. There are 30km of, mostly, intermediate slopes serviced by 23 lifts. There is 800m - 1,623m of altitude at Kranjska Gora. Beginners and recreational skiers will enjoy the slopes and trails in Kranjska Gora, Mojstrana, Gozd Martuljek, and Planina pod Golico, while the Podkoren trail is more demanding. The best skiers in the world compete annually on this run for the Vitranc Trophy in World Cup men's giant slalom and slalom races.
