June Mountain is in the Eastern Sierra peaks, past its bigger sister, Mammoth. The runs for beginners are wide open and tantalizing; plenty of intermediate terrain and challenge. June Mountain is great for families, too. All the trails eventually end up at the Chalet. The skiable terrain covers 500 acres on a 2,589-foot vertical drop. The top of June Mountain is 10,135 feet. There are numerous lodges, chalets, cottages, town homes, and hotels all within driving distance of June Mountain.

Visitor Reviews of June Mountain
Rick Lang from United States writes:
This is a small Eastern Sierra ski resort less than one hour north of the huge Mammoth Mountain ski resort {also now owned by Mammoth}. I started skiing here in the early 70's and hardly anything has changed. Great little family mountain and IF THE FACE HAS AMPLE SNOW, one steep evil and extreme descent down to the parking lot, with the usual cat trail option for everyone else.
