Visitor Reviews of Gressoney-la-Trinite
Tom Peters from Ireland writes:
A great place for a week of skiing. Lift lines at the base were never more than 5 minutes and the longest wait at the Alagna tram was about 10-15 minutes.
Pistes were groomed every night without fail.
Piste terrain was never boring with lots of undulating and twists to the shape of the slope. Some good steeps and run-outs. Not a place for moguls except for narrow chimneys off-piste. Off-piste is extensive as advertised but watch out for snow snakes.
Stayed at the Hotel Gressoney, a very pleasant lodge with wonderful dinners; 3 choices for main course and a superlative antipasti buffet and a dessert table to die for.
I would gladly return for more of the same. Great people and a lovely set of beautiful villages nestled in nearly hanging wall valleys.
Crystal ski was our host and the rep was sometimes hard to track down.
