Visitor Reviews of Grandeko Ski Resort

Daz from Japan writes:

Early Jan 2008
Snow Condition:fresh powder everywhere.
Pros: wasn't busy in the morning, snow condition, trees on the pistes.
Cons: a little small, busy from lunchtime onwards, some flat bits at the bottom.
I loved this place (Grandeko Ski Resort). We got the night bus up and so we were the first ones on the lifts and there were zero crowds until lunchtime. This resort is a little small, but when you have it to yourself you don't mind so much. I think this would be good for families as all the runs come together at the bottom ensuring that no one gets lost. The snow here was great, it was snowing all night as we were driving there, then it stopped about 7am just before the lifts opened, so when the sun came out I discovered 1st tracks; I thought I was in heaven. They had a couple of nice runs where they have allowed some trees to remain, and for someone like me who is just building up his skills, this gave me the opportunity to start to develop tree riding skills. I definitely enjoyed myself here.
