Falls Creek is 356kms (about 4.5 hours) from Melbourne and approximately eight hours' drive from Sydney. Guided snow cat trips take place twice a day and it is well worth the trip. Off the slopes, Falls Creek has more than 4,200 beds in the village ranging from economy style to luxury.
