John Rankin from Canada
Crabbe Mountain is a great little hill. There is a variety of downhill and cross-country runs. Some of the downhill has bumps, but most have not. There is a long gentle run for those who are not too ambitious, while there are steep pitches with bumps, and steep flat pitches for fast cruising.
There is one rapid quad lift which services the whole hill, and a T-bar which is handy if it's busy.
During the week (except school breaks), you can ski and ski and ski, but even on the weekends, it's not usually overcrowded except on holidays.
There's a good lodge, with a variety of foods, a bar, and a ski rental and sales shop.
Crabbe is a friendly hill, with a long history and while Eastern Canada can't compete with the Rockies it's a lot closer to home!
