Just moved to Utah and Brighton Resort truly does have the best snow on earth. Brighton has plenty of steep and challenging terrain, trees, cliffs, but still some excellent groomers if you are just out for a joy-ride.

Brighton Resort is a hidden jewel. Snowfall is copious comparable to Alta and Snowbird. The vertical is limited (just under 2000 ft), but terrain is surprisingly varied. Brighton Resort has some of the best tree skiing in Utah. Lots of high speed lifts. Very reasonable lift tickets. Favorite of locals, but few people outside of Utah know about it. I'd just as soon it stay that way.

Lovely little resort, one of my favorites in Utah. If it's a nice sunny day be sure to give yourself time to take some pics of the elks and moose you're sure to see on the drive up. A snowboarders mecca but skiers wil not feel left out.

Brighton is the best bang for your buck in Utah. Plenty of backcountry, chutes, treetrails, powder galore if you find out where to look for it. Night-riding is deluxe. Only the terrain park at Park City can top that of Brighton. Gorgeous mountain all around with a little something for everyone!
