Birao in Japan (located in the Hokkaido prefecture) is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts but it does boast a respectable 380 metres (1247 feet) of vertical descent. Birao has 11 pistes. Birao is only really suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Birao..
