One of the largest snowcat operations in the world, Big Red Cats operates on all aspects of 8 mountains in the Monashee range of British Columbia, just 17km from Red Mountain ski resort in Rossland BC. With 19,300 skiable acres, and 9 snowcats (5 for guests, 2 as backup, 2 roadbuilders), Big Red Cats has over 500 runs with varied pitch, aspect, and tree cover, for the best snow quality possible on your day out. A guest-to-guide ratio of 4:1, (CSGA, ACMG, and NZMGA qualified guides) enhances the experience. Big Red Cats offers separate tours for "blue" "black diamond" and "double-black" skiers and riders. From gladed tree-skiing to open bowls, Big Red Cats has something for everyone. Single day tours as well as multi-day resort-based holidays are available at very competitive rates.

Spring melt/freeze cycle has begun - optional rain checks will be on offer for those who want them, if their days look to be affected, but we can still operate if you still want to head out. There will be several standby seats available ($399) the week of 19-25 Mar, before closing day 26 Mar.
