For a tiny little town, Laramie has a lot to offer.
For a tiny little town, Laramie has a lot to offer. The Old Town around Main St is worth taking an easy stroll. It is full of nice/quirky stores, restaurants, and pubs. Also, a really nice Wy Womens Museaum that is well worth taking time in. Wy was Womens Lib before it became cool.
There are typical tourist attractions, such as the Territorial Prison that is worth your time, University of Wy, and a really nice selection of churches to choose from. Be sure to check out local events on the city website for concerts, fairs, and other activities during the year. There are plenty of public parks where kids can run free, and adults can stretch out under a tree or even wet A LINE.

A great restored historic downtown area with plenty of good restaurant choices. Pleasant walkable town with a surprisingly diverse population. FYI: If you're looking for a great vegetarian restaurant -- highly recommend Sweet Millessa's.

Laramie reminds me of my own hometown. It has character. I wish I could have spent more time visiting and being a tourist. I would have liked seeing some of the historical museums and old town. Next time!

Downtown Laramie was like hometowns use to be.
Downtown Laramie was like hometowns use to be. It was friendly, with nice restaurants and shops. We had been traveling since 4 am and arrived in time for dinner but too tired to enjoy the town. If we are able to venture this way again, we will stay a few days to take in sights and learn the history.

We didn't spend much time here, but all the places we visited were very friendly and pleasant. There is a university close by so all the general things you'd expect from a city (fast food, coffee franchises, etc) were available. All the locals we came in contact with were all pleasant and friendly.
spacious, comfortable rooms with good quality bed for a good nights sleep. loads of decent parking. Took the breakfast package and this was excellent value - super breakfast at Perkins on site. Nice lobby with coffee on tap. Good selection of eating places close by and an easy 25 mins walk to downtown Laramie through the pleasant University area.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room on floor 3 comfortable and spacious. Everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. A little drive from downtown Laramie, but an easy straight drive in.
The jacuzzi was a lovely de-stress after a long drive. Nice reception area to use the WiFi and relax, free coffee.
It was the cheapest price in Laramie to stay overnight for the CSU vs Wyo game. Newer hotels closer to campus were $400-600. We paid $188. The beds were decent but sheets and bedding thin. Toiletries were provided. Breakfast is included.
Breakfast was good. Hotel was exceptionally clean. I honestly had doubts when I saw that it was an older hotel. But the mattress was recent, and everything was surprising clean and welcoming. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful.
Practically nothing! It is desperate to stay in a hotel in a region and during the cold period that does not have heating in its apartments. Real fridge. Avoid if you can. It doesn't pay off.
Rooms were spacious and seemed clean, having wood floors was pretty cool I don’t see that in a lot of hotels. Location was convenient. Staff were friendly. Pet friendly!
Very comfortable bed & plenty of room for a studio! Great value and good location in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay again if we return to Laramie!
comfy beds, nice spa, excellent staff especially Brent who went out of his way to help us after we picked up a puncture enroute to the hotel, thank you Brent
accommodating. when I 84 closed and left is unexpectedly in Laramie, they allowed us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. we loved the hot tub.
