We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...
Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate.
The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there.
Best restaurant: New Day Eatery
Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage
The Inn was a short walk from the ferry dock. The staff were pleasent, helpful and friendly. We were checked in fast and told there was a Safeway about two blocks around the corner. We checked in at the Quality in and were told we could go back there in the morning for breakfast. The breakfast was great. Our hotel room was across the street from Quality Inn. It was nice and clean and quiet. The price was so reasonable and definately worth every penny. We would be happy to stay there again when in Port Angeles.
Fantastic rooms with a lodge feel. The beds were very comfortable (how often can one say that about a hotel room?), were immaculately clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was good with a lot of options, and there is a pool and hot tub too. In the atrium is a large fireplace with a real wood fire - a good place to relax for a few minutes and warm up on the way in. A great location, right as you enter the center of Port Angeles, so access to restaurants and the ferry port is easy. Plenty of parking.
This was a fantastic little adventure just near to Port Angeles and the various sights that my wife and I wanted to see. Loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was and how comfortable the tent was despite the weather. We had adequate blankets and cushions and things to be comfortable, even if the layout was simple and somewhat boho-inspired from a look perspective. Loved the camping experience. This might've spoiled us a bit too much and it may be hard to go back to a regular tent now... ha!
The location was great for accessing port Angeles, just a short walk (about 10-15mins) or a quick drive in. The reception staff were nice when I checked in and check out was quick as I could just leave my key in a drop box. The room was fine and the shower was hot and high pressure. Just what I needed to go on some great hikes in the national park! It's a little basic but value for money is great.
In its class, it is a very good hotel - not fancy, but satisfactory at all levels: the rooms are compact, but nicely decorated and clean. Have all the necessary amenities. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast to go only, but well organized. Electric kettles can be ordered at the reception. Very good wi-fi. Conveniently located close to the Olympic National Park.
The location is pretty good as it's walking distance from wharf and main streets/attractions –– the hotel is at the top of a steep hill though, might not be ideal with big, heavy luggage or if you have mobility issues.
Breakfast is included with quite a few options.
A nice, quiet location in the woods. The windows inside the house gave great views all around the house and it had a nice 70’s house vibe. It was just up the hill from the turn off to Hurricane Ridge. And about 10-15 mins down into Port Angeles and access to Hwy 101.
beautiful place. Very comfortable with a wonderful view. It is very well appointed and the owners are very pleasant and helpful. The location is both close enough from downtown Port Angeles that you can walk there and far enough that it is quiet.
We took the ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles and needed a place to stay for the night. This place was perfect for a one night stay. It was clean, check in was easy, and parking was easy. The bed was very comfortable.
It is a lovely house, well maintained and with all the amenities you would need, we were a group of 4 and found it extremely comfortable. Will surely book again if we're ever back in port Angeles. Thank you
great value for what we got. Loved how easy it was to find it when getting off the Port Angeles ferry. We were looking for an affordable place to stay, and we found it
Old style motel along the highway in Port Angeles. The room was very clean and good looking for an older place. Variety of restaurants nearby. Owner was very friendly.
