2 beds in room. 1 cover was in shreds and the other bed looked like a sunken grave or a sway backed horse. Gross under beds and no filters in the air conditioner. Overall room looked clean but sheets and towels stained. I wouldn't stay at this motel again. Listing says "highly rented", not because it was good or worth the price, must be because nothing much else there.

There are not a lot of restaurant options in Kellogg, but wow, it sure beats Wallace! Consider shopping at the local stores and using the hotel microwave! The ski resort is a big attraction as is access to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.

The lady in the office at the motel was nice.

The lady in the office at the motel was nice. But driving around town, not knowing our way around, I stopped at a corner not realizing it wasn't a stop sign the person behind me later on his horn and flipped me the middle finger. Then we were waiting to park and a local pulled into the spot we were waiting for. Rude! Won't go back there again.

The Phoenix hasn’t yet risen from the ashes in Kellogg.

The Phoenix hasn’t yet risen from the ashes in Kellogg. The McKinley name on street and a defunct hotel had me googling President McKinley for an association. Kellogg has a small historic district that’s worth a look.

Kellogg is a great little historic town to visit with family and friends. It is a peaceful town to get away to. There were many places that pictures could be taken. The Silver Mountain activities available are awesome year round. In the spring and summer, there are opportunities to rent a bike and ride the gondola to the chalet and ride the trails down the mountain. The gondola ride up the mountain was a great experience. There is a restaurant at the top of the first mountain. Might need to check summer hours for it.

Nice complex overall with a lot of activity, the apartment was large, clean, and well-equipped if but a tad banged-up from use. Would be very good for a family stay of several nights or more (we were only there for about 14 hours). Owner was very quick and pleasantly responsive with emails and texts to give us the info needed for checking in, getting the key, and accessing the room - as this is a privately-owned apartment unit that is not managed by a hotel front desk.

Location was great, staff were amazing but I could see this hotel getting seriously noisy during peak season, it’s in desperate need of some face lifting, smells a bit dank, and the bed was only slightly better than what I’d imagine a medieval torture apparatus might be like but the price was right and once the showers and door exits subsided generally quiet so Yeah…

Awesome location and 360 degree view of the Silver Valley, Kellogg and surrounding mountains. Different view from every room. Was super quiet especially considering the location. We travel to Kellogg often this will be our "go to" place from here on out! Walking distance to various eateries, pubs and shops. Tastefully decorated too!

The man running this place has got to be one of the nicest human beings on Earth. He went the extra mile. Locked keys in the car and had an extremely long wait for AAA but the nice people nearby helped us get in the car everyone was kind that was also staying there it is not fancy but it is clean comfortable safe and a very nice place

The modest room w two doubles was simple. It did include a fridge, coffeemaker and supplies, and microwave and TV. Bed was comfortable. The motel is 1950s era and near the highway but quiet through the night. Unpretentious, clean, basic, and completely fine for an inexpensive overnight stop. I’d stay there again.

The location was great. It was so nice to have a spot close to the hill, the ski locker made it so convenient. The room was clean, it had a lot of hooks to hang and dry gear. It also allowed pets, but was clean and didn't smell like a pet friendly unit which was greatly appreciated.

The room was very clean, surprisingly better than what I can get from a $200 a night brand name hotel room. Took me 90sec to walk from the locker to the gondola!! Amazing location!

I liked the hotel and location. Breakfast was OK. There was a big group of bicycle riders that took over the breakfast area, which was disappointing .
