Motel 6-Windsor Locks, CT - Hartford, hotel in Simsbury

Located 1 mile from Bradley International Airport, this motel features an outdoor swimming pool and cable TV with extended channels. The New England Air Museum is 5 miles away.

I have been to many economy places and nothing feels badly like being where you are afraid to sit comfortably. The tools were the cleanest. I do wish ypu visited this site before renting it. Felt like a homeless shelter...looked like an abandoned building. Please do better. Thanks I wish to receive a refund as it wasn't possible to get anything planned because I was only there for 3 nights and had to attend a wedding 😢

I live in RI and have never been that far into the center of CT as I always thought it would be boring. I was incorrect and went to a number of stores, breweries, eateries and met a great group of people throughout my short stay.

We were visiting the New England Air Museum.

We were visiting the New England Air Museum. This motel was about 15 minutes away. It was the most reasonable motel price-wise. The motel is old and dated, as are the interior finishes. Not run down, just old. There have been some updates, but more would not hurt. The room was a good size. The room was very clean. Everything worked inside. Clean is the biggest thing for me. Dated doesn't bother me.

It never stopped pouring for 48 hours, could not walk around at all, in addition, very cold. Unusual for this time of the year! We drove around to different little towns. Simsbury Inn is in a very good location.

It was pouring/raining for the duration of our trip.

It was pouring/raining for the duration of our trip. We didn't get to enjoy the hiking to the tower or a nearby botanical garden as we planned. But, it was close to Hartford and we found some indoor stuff to do there. The Pine and Iron axe throwing spot was unexpectedly fun! And lunch in West Hartford was great. I'd say, if you see it is going to rain actively try to plan a nearby museum or other activity. We weren't able to get into the Mark Twain House (about 20 minutes away I think) and b/c of COVID indoor activities are limited.

I did not have enough time to thoroughly explore the area but from what I did see it was very cozy and full of nature exploration features. The people were very friendly. It was also easy to get around and a very quaint community with great food and lots of places to eat.

The most magical place on the East Coast. Beautiful magical, historical, friendliest and genuinely warm staff, home feeling but with all amenities of a hotel, sister hotel close by with the huge pool and most amazing jacuzzi with the strongest jets. I came to US to move and had a lot of hard work unpacking and packing, and it was all very straining both physically and emotionally and this place was the warmest base that helped me so much! Thank you Sheryl, Kai and Glen you made me feel like a part of your family. Miss you!

The Inn is beautiful! The staff from housekeeping to waitstaff in the restaurants to front desk were top notch, friendly and professional. The food service in both the breakfast cafe and restaurant was excellent. The larger king rooms are a much better value than the standard size king room.

We like the hotel and always stay here when we come to the Hartford area. Rooms are clean, large. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. It costs a bit more than other hotels and we don't take full advantage of the amenities so we probably do not get full value but that's on us.

Everything was done right, attention to details, relaxing, nice bedding and towels, a breakfast made for royalty, chef presentation, candles, they are truly talented inn keepers. We look forward to returning. Thank you.
