It is a great little town. The people are very friendly. They have some great food, and the town always has some activity going. After a full day of skiing, it has several places to unwind. During the sumer there are plenty of activities for everyone. And the weather is perfect.

We needed to chill and disengage from our lives a bit.
We needed to chill and disengage from our lives a bit. This place magically does that for us . It's our second time here in 10 years and I don't like to revisit places but this is our magical place. The Alley House was a great delight! The crime free atmosphere was refreshing. It is a destination to behold. There are few places like this to experience.

Liked: This is a place for outdoor lovers!
Liked: This is a place for outdoor lovers! Many options for walking/hiking. Abundant lakes in and near the city if you love to fish! Very nice walking trail that follows the river through town.
The hot springs are ok if you like that sort of thing, but are on the pricey side.
Not so great: Not many dining options (a lot of the restaurants seem to be closed on Sunday) and seem to lean toward brew pubs and burger joints.

Charming little town with a lot to offer.
Charming little town with a lot to offer. We loved hiking the short trek to Treasure falls, soaking in Hippy Dippy Hot Springs along the snowy river, walking the town, delicious breakfast at Pagosa Bakery and a delicious dinner at Riff Raff on the Rio.

Scenic, friendly town on the western slope.
Scenic, friendly town on the western slope. Nice downtown area, restaurants and shops available. A hot-air balloon was flying overhead one morning. Enjoyed Made in Colorado, and Pagosa Flowers. Took a scenic drive north of town to Piedra and enjoyed seeing the beginnings of Fall aspen colors. Traffic was often a challenge on US 160.
HOT TUB! the pool is fed by the same springs that feed the expensive hotel across the street for a fraction of the cost.
the cleaning lady was the BEST. small fridge in the room was the coldest of any on our trip. It is easy walking distance up and down the river and to lots of shops and restaurants of which we took advantage of. had a massage. EXCELLENT. then, into the pool was an excellent way to relax. they have several grills there if you have a family and you want to cook out.
Small rustic cabins with a kitchenette that was stocked with nice dishes and cleaning products. Gas fireplace stove in the living area was amazing! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soft towels. The cabin was great for 2 people and was very cozy and comfortable. The property itself was beautiful with the river running behind it. The trees in front of the cabins added to the cozy cabin feel especially after it snowed! Great location and easy access to the highway.
The breakfast was very, very disappointing. There were 5 items including coffee and juice available. I have had grab and go breakfasts at multiple hotels in the last 6 months and all were able to provide many and varied food choices despite Covid restrictions. Here, for quite an expensive room, we had to go out for breakfast.
We only saw one staff member (1 encounter) and one cleaning person in our 2 day stay.
The table in the room was broken and unusable.
The place was well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine and dryer which are big pluses for me. It is big enough for a family of 4-6 people having a master's bedroom and two extra bedrooms downstairs with two full baths and a powder room in the living area. Also, it is just across the road to the edge of the lake. In all, it is a great place to stay and relax in Pagosa Springs.
We had visited this property in January and enjoyed it a lot. Amazing spot to stay in Pagosa Springs with a Mountain View, 15 minutes for Walmart and 15 for Pagosa Springs Thermal Resort. Highly recommend to hike on the Piedra river trail - 20 mins from the property.
If you are visiting this area during winter - be prepared for heavy snowfalls by cleaning the driveway :)
The rooms are extremely clean and nicely updated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft, making it easy to get a good nights rest.
I loved the location as it was within walking distance to mostly everything. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The breakfast was well stocked and the front desk was extremely helpful.
I was traveling through Pagosa Springs with a friend on BMW motorcycles. Initially I thought I booked a room at a hotel but was pleasantly surprised to find this place in a nice residential neighborhood. Our room was large and clean with beautiful furniture. The host was incredibly friendly and made our stay special.
Beautiful, safe, restored & modern, great location. No contact check in. Wonderful bar on site. Our second stay was just as special as our first. Recommend the Nightingale to anyone who is looking for a boutique hotel in Pagosa Springs.
Great location right downtown Pagosa Springs.Walking distance to the hot springs resort , restaurants & shops.located in beautiful quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature & deers ! They came to hang out in front yard everyday.
Good location, pretty courtyard garden in back and decent sized room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The indoor hot tub and pool looked appealing though we didn’t have time to use them.
The room was clean and located within easy walking distance to downtown Pagosa Springs. I would like to try one of the cabins for a bit more privacy. There is an easy trail down to the river as well.
Friendly staff. Reasonable cost. Comfortable beds, very clean room. Refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of other amenities. You can tell that the owners care about this hotel.
Wonderful and comfortable. have stayed in many cabins at high end dude ranches that weren’t nearly as nice.
clean, spacious and well taken care of property.
