Room was nice, bonus having the kitchenette area (fridge, coffee maker, microwave). Ground floor room with a outdoor area that overlooked Buttermilk and the pool (mountain was already closed for season, we were in town for a concert). Staff was great and the on-demand shuttle was fantastic to get into town.
This hotel has a year-round outdoor heated pool and whirlpool and free cable on flat-screen TVs. It is 2 blocks from Aspen’s free ski shuttle system.

Breakfast was a large verity and was free. The pool was so nice especially when it was cold outside, the heated pool felt great! The steam room was very relaxing. Tom was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, kind, welcoming and attentive. The room was perfect size for two and cozy. The shared bathroom was always clean and organized. Everything was walking distance from the main town. Also the complimentary wine in the evenings was a huge plus.

As an Aspen visitor for many years, I am disappointed with the high-value construction that has removed much of the city’s charm. The setting is as beautiful as ever with its exceptional hiking opportunities.

Great place to visit. Very walkable place.
Great place to visit. Very walkable place.
We drove from Denver to Aspen; beautiful drive but the last hour or so, should be done during daylight hours as the road gets very narrow, with very close and dangerous curves.
If possible, fly directly into Aspen.

The town is wonderful but much different than our first trip fifty years ago and all of it is not for the best either but it’s still a great town but bring you money as it’s very expensive. It’s to bad we couldn’t get access to go to Maroon Bells as that was where we went on our honeymoon and we would have liked to visit it again.

Aspen was absolutely beautiful. 100% worth going.
Aspen was absolutely beautiful. 100% worth going. Everything is very clean. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. The town provides bus service to several places for free which is great. They also provide a free taxi service that travels inside the city for free. Makes it awesome for your short trips so you aren't constantly having to deal with parking or trying to GPS everywhere with the amount of pedestrians. The gondola was an amazing adventure also. EVERYTHING in town is very pricey so be prepared for some expensive meal tickets.

I visited Aspen with my family over the Christmas holiday and the town was just magical. The friendly and helpful nature of the people in this little town made us feel at home. Ski lessons at Buttermilk was the highlight of our trip. The mountain was beautiful and our instructor was awesome. Getting around town was easy and the bus rides were surprisingly free.

We came in the fall and stayed three nights.
We came in the fall and stayed three nights. We visited Maroon Bells, Kebler Pass, took the Silver Queen Gondola to the top of the mountain for the fantastic view. We even took Dean' Ghost tour one evening. Also, we visited John Denver's Sanctuary, which is worthwhile. Wish we had one more day to shop and explore the town and beautiful architecture. We really enjoyed Aspen.
We absolutely loved the "condo" aspect of The Gant — having a full suite kitchen, washer/dryer, and two bedrooms was a great experience. The free shuttle service was a godsend and we used that often to get in and out of downtown Aspen. The staff was remarkably friendly and informative, as well as housekeeping being respectful.
Excellent location! Our room was nicely updated (including the bathroom). The rooftop hot tub was a nice place to relax after a hike. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Great views from the room. Despite being downtown, it was very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Short distance to ski buses so great location for accessing all 4 Mountains in Aspen/Snowmass. Easy walking distance to downtown Aspen. The swimming pool is a hot tub and was close to our room- fabulous! Ski locker next to our room was really useful.
The studio was clean and cozy, and it had all the amenities as advertised. The location was perfect. You can go anywhere walking, there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. I will stay here again the next time I come to Aspen.
The location within Aspen was great. Walking distance to the ski lift and also very close to the bus stop to reach connected skiing areas. The hot tub located directly in front of our room was very relaxing after a skiing day!
Excellent place to stay! 5 min walk to downtown, super clean. Staff is incredible. Tony, Anna and Tracy are true gems who will make your stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely stay there next time we visit Aspen.
Well maintained and clean. Really enjoyed this place and the value is fantastic. Walked to the shadow mountain lift to ski. Also took RFTA to other resorts. The bus stop is literally right outside the front door!
Beautiful location and hotel. We enjoyed the sauna in the morning before our breakfast. A lot healthy choices. Not much for gluten free. But the staff put something together for me. Would definitely stay again!
Breakfast was delicious. Cocoa and cookies are a nice touch. Two blocks to the gondola. The art on the walls tells the history of Aspen and the Chalet like a museum. Thank you very much.
The heated pool was great and the location, walkable from downtown Aspen, was super. The gardens and area inside the property was well maintained and created a very nice atmosphere.
A beautiful and new property, everything was clean and as described. Excellent location, walking distance to downtown aspen and the ski hill. Would definitely stay here again!
Location was excellent, hotel did the job, staff were friendly. Cheapest hotel in Aspen, so do not expect Little Nell or Hotel Jerome. Would def stay here again.
