In winter,it was hard to drive down to the valley due to snow. I am not use to driving in the snow,it was nerve recking for me. Facility was wonderful. My drive way was cleared by the company very efficiently every morning. Full garage helped to park inside in the winter season. Condo itself was lovely but we could not talk to a real person at all for our needs was a bummer.

Great location, situated in the center of the park, Wonderful, spacious, super clean and warm house.
Perfect living rom/family area for bonding (boardgames and movie time) We’ll definitely go back here in summer and next winter. You can find everything that you need in the kitchen including basic spice.
It would be perfect if there’s coffee maker :)
There’s barbeque in backyard but not able to use as it’s covered by snow.

Not at all what we expected. The internet was terrible.
Not at all what we expected. The internet was terrible. The couch was old and uncomfortable. The kitchen and dining area is useful if only one person is staying there. The small patio was facing another cabin with owners there. 0 privacy to enjoy nature. A house is being built, we couldn’t even keep our windows open.

The place was too expensive for what it was.
The place was too expensive for what it was. Appliances old and in disrepair. Kitchen water faucets almost unusable. Place looked as if it could use a good scrub and update in carpet and furniture.
For the price you pay in extra fees some should be used for maintenance and making it worthy of the designation ‘resort’.
Positive it’s in the park and beautiful settin.

This particular condo was not good.
This particular condo was not good. This being our fourth visit to Yosemite West and our fourth different management company, we are in a reasonably good place to comment.
Access was unnecessarily complex; the promised access code 24 hours ahead of arrival never arrived; contacting the Company involved a lottery of phone numbers from a phone in a different building; the employee, who eventually answered the call, told us we didn't have access rights until 4pm [it was then 3.30pm!], so why the fuss!! Begs the question of the broken promise of the code 24 hrs in advance!!
He told us he would email the code to us! My wife pointed out we had no email access until we gained entry; he said he would text it to us - until my wife pointed out there was no phone signal in West Yosemite!!! He eventually read out the 10 digit code for her to copy down!
Opening the door to the unit, we were greeted by large stains on the carrpet, a badly broken floor tile in the kitchen, gap below the worksurface where a machine had been removed but the plywood/cardboard/paper covering left behind. The units above the sink and cooker were too high for the average person to safely reach into - no steps provided!
Sitting at the breakfast bar, I counted a large number of unfilled holes in the wall, the bathroom walls had double the number!!
Two lights were not working, one above the breakfast bar, one in the bathroom! Strange considering we read how diligent the cleaners/maintenance team were!! The electric [!] bbq on the patio didn't work. To enjoy a glass of wine, you had the option of two tumblers - ideal for some, not for us!
The lounge area was comfortable, as indeed was the bed!
Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially given the large amount of money we had paid. For that kind of money, we expect better!
Would we go back to West Yosemite? Yes!!
Would we book through this management company again? Definitely not!

I have stayed here twice now and on both occasions have been very happy. The accommodation sleeps up to 3 comfortably with a huge double bed and sofa bed. The mezzanine kitchen area is well stocked with cooking implements and an oven and fridge freezer. Sitting area and BBQ out front. The hosts are welcoming and send a welcome email with access details before your stay. Great location- about 35 mins from Valley floor but still inside the park so you avoid entrance queues! Parking is tricky on the village floor so we left at 6.30am to guarantee a space then ate breakfast in the village. Plus you get to see Tunnel.View every morning! Easy access to Wawona and Mariposa Grove. Would highly recommend as an affordable, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Yosemite.
Tucked away in the tranquil forest, this charming rental home surpassed all expectations. Surrounded by nature's beauty, we were fortunate enough to witness a majestic bear during our stay, creating unforgettable memories. Its unbeatable location near Glacier, Wawona, and Yosemite Valley made it a breeze to explore the park's breathtaking landmarks. Whether you're seeking serenity or a thrilling wildlife experience, Forest Glen in Yosemite West is the ideal destination for an unforgettable getaway.
The apartment was absolutely fantastic! We were absolutely blown away by it and it was far beyond our expectations. The view was incredible and there was everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and even with all spices for cooking. The bbq was a really nice option to have.
Yosemite west is about a half hour drive from mariposa grove , glacier point and also yosemite village. The hosts reply really quickly to any queries. We would deffinately stay again.
The location is spectacular, easy parking and easy to get to Glacier Point, Wanona and the Valley. Yosemite West is very quiet, and with very little light pollution - perfect for stargazing. Also, the view in the morning is spectacular from the patio.
This property does not have wifi, and only Verizon kind of worked in a corner of one of the rooms. We enjoyed the digital detox, but it might not be for everyone.
Amazing property, in the heart of Yosemite West. Full of trees and birds chirping, super comfortable studio. The host let us coffee and pop corn. The studio is full equipped to cook, and everything was extra clean. The bed is super comfortable, best sleep I had in weeks. The wifi worked ok, enough for what we needed (send a couple of messages and browse some sites).
Very good place to stay while ok Yosemite!
Yosemite West is a great location in the national park, 30min drive to Yosemite Valley, 20min from the first main viewpoints. The apartment is in the middle of trees. There are everything to cook!
It’s an area quite high so if it’s snowy/icy, and not snow cleared yet, it’s better to try to park the car in the last top of uphill if the car doesn’t have the right equipment, because it’s downhill.
Amenities and location were what we needed for our Yosemite vacation. Our unit was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, easy access with good parking. It fit our expectations for a cabin/camping/hiking outdoor weekend with littles who needed a few home like amenities at the end of each day. We would return and recommend to others.
great location and great place for travel. It was like a home, very comfortable. It is close to the Tunnel view and valley.
The 3rd day it started snowing heavily, it was little concern about the road conditions. The owner helped removing all the snow from the driveway the day we left. I highly recommend this place.
Location being inside Yosemite was great. Yosemite West is a housing development basically, so there's not a ton of privacy. However the houses aren't right on top of each other. The building is split in half, but even though the other half was occupied we couldn't tell anyone was there. It was very clean also.
I can't give a review of Yosemite Crossroads since we didn't stay there. We ended up being placed in the Craftsman Cottage (also maintained by Scenic Wonders), instead of this home. So my review scores are about the Craftsman Cottage.
Location to Glacier Point was amazing. Home is inside of the park so you don't have to wait at the gate to get in and out. Plenty of room for 3 people. Working appliances to cook breakfast and keep groceries cold
So the location of this condo is perfect. Already in the NP (means to need to line for hours at the park entrance), only about half an hour to Yosemite village. Yosemite West is a nice small community.
Enough beds and bathrooms for a large group, sufficient amenities for a Yosemite base camp. Yosemite West is a great location. Wildlife is plentiful in the area but watch out for bears! :)
Wonderful location and a beautiful home close to the Valley and Glacier Point(which is unfortunately closed this year). Master bedroom had awesome views and the house was sparkling clean.
Location is quite close to Yosemite Valley and a really nice collection of high end homes. MUCH quieter than the crazy valley, and no tourists in your way.
