It was a basic room with no frills. The bathroom was actually very nice though. It had a lot of room which was perfect for hanging our wet gear after skiing and the shower had nice hardware.

The spot was perfect, right in the middle of a forest and super close to Shasta Lake, so there were plenty of cool walks to take right from the doorstep. The room was clean and neat, and it felt like a great deal for the price. It was just the right kind of place for a laid-back getaway.

The location, waterbed, kitchen, living room all are great. Mt. Shasta is 10 minutes away, and Hedge Creek Falls is even closer. I visited the falls during a very rainy few days, and it was spectacular! I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again.
Very nice Inn, used by generations. Great view of Shasta and walking distance to town for meals if needed. We ate in our room with microwave, refrigerator, and table and chairs. We only stayed overnight on our way home so visit was not for sightseeing.

We like the city with all its new age type stuff, fresh water fountain always flowing at the corner and great pizza options. I'll leave you to find which one we always go to. We really do try to make sure we get to town before they close. We also like the way the city really feels close to and connected with the not too far off mountain. There are also some really excellent water falls in nearby Dunsmir if you have just a little time and the inclination. Not to far off Mossbrae Falls is really outstanding and there are others, but if you've got even more time, then Burney Falls is just beyond!

Shasta has a great little downtown with shops and some unique restaurants and bars. Yak's Shack is a funky restaurant with great food and outside seating. The area has tremendous hiking and Lake Siskiyou is 10 minutes away and is a great place to swim.
I love the vibe of the place and the mountain, of course, is spectacular! In the winter, there is lots of skiing and outdoor adventures to be had. In the summer you can relax and hike it's beautiful mountain.

Mount Shasta is a lovely little ski-town that offers a lot for people traveling out of the ski season. We stayed in the Strawberry Valley Inn which is a bout 10 minutes walk from out of town and set in a nice garden location. Nearby (next door and over the road) are a couple of great restaurant options. We walked into town and went to a nice brewpub for one dinner.
We also hiked a couple of trails that are short and fairly flat, both were in town.

Mt. Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast was the definition of a relaxing and well-run accommodation that surpassed all expectations. I highly recommend this place if you want easy access to mountain activities, or if you prefer to relax on the porch with a cup of tea or glass of wine (and a homemade cookie!).

It is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the natural features of the area.
A lot of trails, scenic roads and relaxing places.
Don't miss the City Park and the Sacramento River headwaters.
Have a diner at the first Black Bear restaurant.
If you are on a tight schedule, you can miss the visit to the Pluto's Cave.
This place was the most awesomeness place we’ve stayed at it made you feel like you were camping inside the hotel we went biking and they even had the bike mounts on the walls so your bikes can hang it was just an all-around cool experience. This place is so awesome I would recommend this to anyone that passes through Mount Shasta and I’ve stayed at several locations in Mount Shasta none that I can complain about but this place was over the top decorated and the experience that I was looking for for mountain biking and everything!!!!
Friendly, accommodating staff. Great place to meet and greet on the patio and in the lobby. We had a family reunion of about 30 people. We monopolized most of the hotel. The staff was awesome. We made sure we kept everything clean when we left the deck and or lobby. The staff made sure the areas were ready to go door us again the next day. This property and their staff made our vacation/family reunion awesome and memorable! Thanks! We’ll be back. (Sorry😉)
We had a very pleasant stay at the Inn at Mount Shasta. As some reviewers pointed out, it is a motel, but it has been renovated very recently. Our room on the second floor was quiet, spacious and very clean. Looking at what is available in town in terms of centrally located accommodations, I think that they are the best option. The ladies at the reception, both when we checked in and checked out were very efficient and pleasant.
This is family operated small hotel. You could not find may of them left in California now. Room was big enough and clean with comfortable bed. Owner provided excellent home made breakfast. Tea and chocolate cupcakes served whole day. It is short ride from Mt Shasta town. My wife left reader in the room. I called and asked to send it to us. We got it back by USPS a couple of days later. I can highly recommend tis hotel.
The treehouse is a cool place with an old vibe in the quiet town of Mt shasta. I knowingly overpaid for the last room available, so wont complain about price. It was far more on your website of booking.com
Twice as much actually as directly dealing with the hotel. But, they were full, and booking with booking.com was the only way to access that secret last room. It all worked out!
Beautiful, cheapest and great location close to food entertainment and downtown. Wonderful rooms and parking we would recommend this place to anyone going to mount shasta. Great place to stay when planing a relaxing trip, going skiing, for work, or in our case getting closer to the best hospital and staff to have ur baby before induction day. It was great!!!
We were able to park right in front of our room that has been refurbished. The hotel is located on the Main Street in Shasta City. Our room had a peek a boo view of the mountain and there is an outdoor common patio area that looked very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. This property was very adequate for a one night stay.
Beautiful looking hotel with chalets to match, the rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable and the shower hot, it's situated at the far end of town so you don't get the traffic noise but there are plenty of food outlets nearby. Breakfast is a simple affair but it was filling so it was good enough for us.
The lodge is new and very nice. The facility is a good size and easy to use. The lights are on at night, so you can camp safely.
The exterior, interior and souvenirs are all tasteful.
Easy access to Mount Shasta and nearby waterfalls, comfortable to return to the inn and rest during the hot weather.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. I like the vegan soap and the focus on sustainability. The location and view of Mount Shasta was also very nice.
Room was very clean and smelled fresh. The hotel was super close to Mt. shasta ski resort which was very convenient for us. This place is reasonably priced for our needs. Will stay again in the future!
The chalet room we stayed in was awesome! More like a large hotel room, with 2 queen beds, a bathroom with step in shower, mini fridge & coffee maker. Very spacious!
Close to traffic and train. They provided complimentary ear plugs, but train still woke us twice. I guess most hotels in this town have the same problem.
