I was supposed to stay two nights to enjoy the summer...
I was supposed to stay two nights to enjoy the summer outdoors and trails. I unfortunately had a family emergency to deal with and could not stay. The resort ignored my request to cancel and charged me full price, $500.00 for the two nights, even though I did not stay. Unacceptable.

To repeat, the place was deserted, creepy feeling of being the only one in the building. Tv remote was impossible to use. How about some good instructions??? The room was clean and comfortable except the window and balcony door were very dirty, spoiling the view of the mountains and sunset. I wish I had known that arriving after five would mean the grocery store and check-in would both be closed.AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0
No real amenities this time of year.
No real amenities this time of year. There is one store that charges a huge mark up on food, coffee...two medium cups of coffee for $10.00?!! Only one restaurant opened - the Kirkwood Inn and Saloon - and last year when we came the employees of the hotel blamed slow service and order mix ups on wi-fi service being down...same story this year. While the hiking and views are gorgeous we would rather drive another 40 minutes and stay in South Shore TahoeJackeeUnited States of America
