Greer Arizona is out of the way, but worth the extra miles. The forests are so green and it is fun to see all of the wildlife. The locals and the visitors are very friendly. We make this a must stop for our vacations.

We loved being in high elevations surrounded by trees and water. The actual town of Greer is just a Main Street with not much choice of restaurants so it’s important to bring all your food unless you want to go to Springerville to shop or eat in a bad and expensive restaurant in Greer. The proximity to trails for hiking and seeing wildlife are excellent. We would return in the fall as it is less crowded than summer months

    This is a beautiful location.

This is a beautiful location. They're lots of woods and fields to walk your pets. Love that they are pet friendly. Though, more training needed towards customers needs. No continental breakfasts offered, though advertised in the booking. Cabins need repairs and heat would be a plus in the rooms at 21 degrees outside. Will not go back. I'll stay at the other cabins there next time.

It was our first time in Greer and we really liked the area.

It was our first time in Greer and we really liked the area. In August the highs are in the 70's, probably the coolest place in Arizona. The country is beautiful and uncrowded. Compared to other resort type destinations, accomidations and food are very reasonable. Molly Butler has great food, some of the best chili I have ever tasted. We also tried the Edelweiss, a new German themed restaraunt in town, it was alright, but I don't know if I would eat there again. I fly fish and wanted to catch Apache Trout. I hired a local guide, Cinda Howard, for a day and from my experience recommend her highly, one of the best guides I have ever fished with. Her knowledge of the waters in the White Mountains was extensive and her helpful yet unobtrusive guiding style excellent. I caught Apache Trout and learned a lot about the fish and where to find them. I hope to return in the Spring of next year to fish the area more and will spend at least a day with Cinda when I do. I would recommend filling the gas tank and grabbing any groceries prior to arrival, there are not many services available in Greer.

    Great people and area.

Great people and area. Only one market so bring some stuff such as groceries from Pinetop or Show Low but definitely support local! They have cool stuff and a small population which makes for the perfect isolated vacation with beautiful trees and mountains.

My husband and I love Greer, it is a small little town with the most beautiful views of the majestic trees, a variety of vegetation and the little Colorado River. There are two restaurants open all year round. You can see wild life all the time. Greer is a great place to visit at any time of the year, but specially in the summer, when everywhere else is hot, Greer's temperatures in the summer are in the 70's for high.

Really nice lodge and place to stay. Lodge is old but gold. it has gym, sauna, pool table, TT table, arcades and few more. Playground, jacuzzi and plenty of open space for kids to run around. The good view of mountains from deck. I am going to stay in this lodge only whenever I am going to Greer. The lodge provided decent breakfast to fuel your body so that you can go out for adventures.

The cabin was clean, pleasantly decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is at the quieter end of Greer, close to Little Colorado River walks. It is an easy 15 minute walk on a well maintained path to restaurants such as the Molly Butler and Rendevous in the center of Greer.

Beautiful rustic lodge with an inviting lounge, clean and comfortable room, and excellent restaurant serving many German and Hungarian dishes. My Zigeunerschnitzel was excellent, as were my Weissbier and Radler. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I will gladly return!

Note, this is no longer "Greer Peaks Lodge". It is under new management and is called "Edelweiss Resort". It no longer features a big breakfast but does offer good German dinners. Outdoor dining was a plus.

The location is amazing, Greer is just a wonderful place to escape the fast pace of everyday life and this place followed along the same theme. No hassle, no worries, and peaceful.

The room was very spacious and the hotel has a good view of Greer from the patio. Also, the breakfast had eggs, potatoes and pancakes and tasted homemade.

Location was very pretty. Plenty of log cabins to rent around this place. The front desk girl I found to check in was pleasant.
