Breakfast was good, but very crowded (popular!). The view of the mountain behind the hotel blew my prairie kids' minds. The room was great for a family of five.

Very nice place to visit If I had more time I would probably be a little bit more adventurous but when it’s business, I pretty much stay close to the room or whenever I’m doing business I’m at the facility.

Lot's of sightseeing around Flagstaff...such as the Sunset Crater Volcano...pretty cool to see the lava streams. The Meteor crater is also worth exploring and lots more such as Grand Canyon. If you like hiking I'd recoommend to buy an annual NATIONAL PARK PASS for ony $80.-...considering Grand Canyon is $35.- entry and other parks are about $25.- you get your money back in a couple of days.

The location of the hotel was ok.
The location of the hotel was ok. Would I book it again, probably no. We’ve arrived a bit late and the dinner plus drinks didn’t meet the criteria of the charges. Therefore, sit by the fire pit, but bring your own food and drinks because the restaurant inside will absolutely rip you off. Hotel itself had pretty friendly and helpful staff.

Flagstaff is a nice place to visit, but being a university town, and the Snow Bowl attraction, causes it to be very expensive. Housing, lodging are comparatively over priced compared to out lying areas.

Unless I was just in a bad part due to where I needed to be for my bus to Albuquerque, it’s basically an industrial town with not much to do. It’s like a massive truck stop. Definitely not worth visiting.
The hotel is located next to a walking trail with deer spotted frequently and good to walk a pet if you have one. Clearly the hotel has done a lot of work to improve the rooms evidenced by new shower, stone counters, etc. Rooms do have a fridge and microwave which is a plus and there are several restaurants within walking distance as well as a short drive to downtown. The price was great in comparison to other hotels in Flagstaff. The front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. There is laundry on site which is great.
I love that the Weatherford has history. You are not staying in a hotel, you are having an experience. You are stepping back in time but with all the modern conveniences! This is not a chain or gigantic hotel where you are one of a hundred guests. This is a family owned hotel, where you will be greeted and taking care of, and where someone really cares if your stay is all that it can be. You can’t ask for a better location, in the center of downtown Flagstaff!!
Rooms and linens were clean and in good repair. Really enjoyed having decent in-room coffee for a change, it's Wolfgang Puck brand and it tastes soooo much better than the cheap crap we usually get at other hotels. Good location in Flagstaff, close to freeway access, and close to shopping and restaurants as well. We did not utilize the spa, but it looked nice and inviting. View from room was also good. Price was decent and noise levels were bearable.
We were looking for a hotel that was walkable to Flagstaff Amtrak Station and restaurants as we had no car. The hotel was perfect for this. The only reason that I did not give the hotel a 10 in all categories was that had I been staying longer, I would have preferred a shower that was in a little bit better condition. It seemed to be showing signs of age.
Super friendly staff, excellent service. The nightstand features some four or five power outlets - something I can't even find in the super expensive 5star hotels. Breakfast is also top. This hotel is a great example that you don't need a brand new hotel to make a stay perfect for the guests. Clean, comfortable - we really enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
I was in Flagstaff for Northern Arizona University’s graduation. It was an easy one mike walk to campus along a walk/bike trail. The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. The hotel is near the junction of Interstate 40/17. This hotel was a great value compared to other hotels in the area.
The location, right near places to eat, parks, supermarkets and shops. Access to the road, good parking, the staff was generally friendly, we had snowfall and they lent us brushes to remove the snow from the car. I think that is what is expected from a hotel. Excellent heating.
The location was great for us, as it is very close to central Flagstaff. The staff was very nice and they let us check in early. The room was a bit odd (it looked a bit like it had some other purpose before being converted into a room) but overall quite comfortable.
Great location for downtown Flagstaff, easy walking distance 10-15 minutes to lots of restaurants, breweries etc.
Free parking. New hotel and decent included buffet style included in room rate.
And located close to the North side of NAU.
Not too expensive, clean, front desk associate when we arrived (Fey?) was very kind and helpful with tips on where to go for food/drinks, good location (though many other hotels are located there as well).
Excellent meal at the hotel restaurant (dinner) with great waitstaff and excellent food. Rooms comfortable and heated pool looked nice (we didn’t have time to use). Excellent location close to airport.
Clean, well maintained, decent breakfast, great location in Flagstaff. What else to ask for? La Quinta hotels generally deliver a consistently good experience, I haven't had any issues so far.
