The Blue Ridge Parkway is beautiful and we had a lovely drive with many senic views and Blowing Rock super ,the views were breathtaking God is so amazing !
We ate at a resturant called Tony's Good food at a resonable price. As a senior ,be prepared for steep hills but otherwise we had a wonderful experience Oh and the wildlife was amazing we woke to find 6 deer grazing outside our cabin.

Very quaint small town with a relaxing, comfortable country vibe. Very peaceful, great restaurants and shopping on Main street and nearby. Only a few miles from Boone - which is a larger town for shopping and restaurants. A nice area to visit - especially during the fall.

Blowing Rock is a beautiful place.
Blowing Rock is a beautiful place. Close to Boone and Grandfather Mountain. We were just there for a wedding and had no time to see the sights. The downtown area was lovely with lots of great shops and restaurants.
It was very windy and turned chilly during the night, so bring a warm jacket no matter the season.

It was a wonderful stay.
It was a wonderful stay. The village looks very nice and cozy. All cabins are around the lake (pond). You can go fishing there. They have a fishing poles to borrow! Or you can go to a picnic area and use a charcoal grill to make dinner or bring pizza from a local pizzeria and eat it outside or inside - whatever you prefer. You can cook dinner in the cabin. All cabins are well equipped: coffee maker, toaster, stove top, oven, full-size refrigerator. And they have a cook book in a cabin :)
They have a club house with a ping-pong table and a pool-table.
My favorite thing is to seat near the fireplace with a glass of wine.
Or seat in the rocking chair in the morning on the private porch.
We will definitely come back to the village.

The location was good, but not very many places to get something to eat. Our dinner choice at the speckled trout was good, but all we could find for breakfast was a coffee shop, which didn't have much of a choice for breakfast items.

We were expecting a mountain retreat.
We were expecting a mountain retreat. This is a crowded tourist trap with no mountain views. Make your dinner reservations well before you get there as most are overbooked, and expects to pay more than you would expects to pay in most cities.
The decor was beautiful and home-y feeling. The breakfast service was nice so there was no rush to leave the room and go grab breakfast. The fresh baked pastries from local cafes and bakeries was a nice touch, I love when small/family owned business support other small businesses. The staff were super friendly and accommodating as well unlike many chains we've stayed with before. The price was comparable to the hotels in the same area without the luxury and service we received.
The property was in a great location close to Blowing Rock, easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and access to great variety of hiking trails. The property was accurately reflected in the pictures. Spacious, light, with well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were very spacious, good mattresses, pillows and linens. The attention to detail in decor was nice - rustic chic. Deck overlooking a brook, peaceful setting with deer coming each morning to drink.
The Hotel was in an ideal location, walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock. The bathroom and room were spotless and nicely decorated. With a screen door and windows on both side of the room and the bathroom, the room was very bright. It is a completely renovated old motel with nice grounds. There was no breakfast service but the room had a Keurig coffeemaker which made up for that.
It was a wonderful place to stay!
The location was fabulous, walkable from Blowing Rock town, next to trails, beautiful lake where we saw deer and nearby the Blue Ridge Parkway. Room was huge and beautifully decorated. So pleased to have real mugs and glasses! The only hotel during our 3 week trip to the USA to do away with disposable cups! Yippee and full marks for that.
Ginger was a great host and very responsive. The home was a lovely place and very clean. The living area was a little small for our large crowd but plenty of space to sleep. I would stay again and would recommend this Blowing Rock home. If staying during snow I would recommend a 4 wheel drive. We hope to come back next year.
Amazing location (a quick walk to downtown Blowing Rock), rooms were clean and comfortable. The gardens and outdoor spaces were so relaxing and comfortable - lets you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A great place to stay if you are visiting Blowing Rock.
Blowing Rock in was a charming motel. I loved the wicker chairs outside. It was exceptionally spacious for a motel and it had an exceptionally good coffee setup. We wanted trout for dinner and they recommended a trout restaurant nearby that had a New York quality dinner for way less money.
The location is excellent , very close to Blue Ridge Parkway. A few minutes to Blowing Rock
The Cabin was cozy and clean. You have washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen.
The fireplace gives the space a warm touch ! The fireplace is gas and has a timer that can be set up.
so close to downtown! the staff was friendly and informative (best customer service we've ever had anywhere). it was the perfect little spot with a mini kitchen and flat screen tv - cozy! we'll be staying here every time we visit blowing rock!
The hotel was nice a clean. It was easy to check in and the staff was very kind. Breakfast was great, so was the coffee! We were only there for one night while passing through town, but it was very comfortable and I would stay again.
The location was pretty good. About a 15 minute walk from the hotel to Main Street blowing rock. The actual blowing rock is not far at all either. There is also a few restaurants only 2-5 minute walks away from the hotel.
Breakfast included
Fireplace in our room
Location, walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do in Blowing Rock
Service was great, had an issue and it was taken care of immediately
Spacious suite
The view was exceptional including mountains, lake and the village of Blowing Rock. The room itself was perfect: comfortable, well-appointed and clean as a whistle.
The location was perfect. About halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock. It was a spacious, yet cozy apartment. The view off the back porch is stunning.
