This was a whimsical, quirky, and weirdly lavish delight. Kim at the front desk was so pleasant to speak with and offered us local insights about things to do about town.

Very nice facilities about 20 minutes from Bellarye Ski mountain. Nice town with a couple good restaurants within walking distance. Staff was amazing during our stay and seemed to genuinely care about our comfort.

This is a very small town (a single street with commercial establishments and a few residential neighborhoods off of the 'main strip.'
It is the middle of the Catskills, and it doesn't get much prettier than that. I suspect it is very busy in ski season, being only 2 miles from a major ski center.

I hiked 30 miles in the Catskills in two days, and staying in Pine Hill made that possible. It's a short drive from pretty much any trailhead in the Catskill region. I didn't really check out most of the town, but the Colonial Inn was really nice.

Was there for work only so I couldn't expound on any of the area amenities. Pizza was good and burgers especially good at wood fired pizza place in town. Meat and 3 diner on main street at neighboring margaretville? Had outstanding roast beef with smashed potatoes piled Mile high!

This hotel has a unique character!
This hotel has a unique character! We enjoyed great food, luxurious beds and linens, fusball table and bikes. And the fire under the stars! It's close to hiking trails and walking distance to the beach. The location was very quiet but yet had special atmosphere in the evenings. Great pkace to come with the family! And no, we didn't miss TV in our room:)

We stayed there because it was close to our hiking destination. It is a quaint village with lots of old buildings to walk and see. There is almost no traffic so it is safe to walk around and sight see. There are a couple shops with locally produced goods and friendly shop owners.
We enjoyed an evening of great food outside on the deck at the Peekamoose Restaurant followed by a quiet walk through the village looking at all the old buildings and shops. A great place to stay for all outdoor recreationalists!
Very old and rustic, poor town and street, but very clean and restaurant next door was clean accommodating and ok. Traveled a long day and had high hopes for a cat skill hotel in a small town but not what I expected. It’s very hard to pick a hotel in a town, state your unfamiliar with but we will try and do better. I know it was the weekend but the room didn’t warrant 154.00. No TV, nothing extra but coffee downstairs and abs some water. Live and learn not terrible but not great.
Loved my stay at this wonderful family operated hotel. Very considerate contactless check in and out experience in such times, handy essentials, fair prices, cute coffee shop under the same roof with stylish touches, bar and restaurant. Try their breakfast naan, coffee is great too.
Update: stayed here again this weekend and enjoyed my stay even more, crazy about their pillows :D the best pillow I slept on! Thank you for the great stay!
The Pine Hill Arms was very cosy and well run. Our room was basic but very clean with plenty of fresh towels and nice quality cotton bedding. The hotel was obviously run w a lot of love and care by Jane and her team. This is the friendliest staff and guests too. Many guests drink and dine in the ski lodge inspired restaurant. We met so many of the guests who I was told live there on the weekends to come up to ski. We’ll be back for sure.
Cute little town, but was literally empty (zero people) when we arrived (7:00 PM on 4th of July). No place to get food or even a bottle of water without driving out of town. The hotel is a very old building, and while normally we like that kind of place, this was much too run down. The lobby was comfortable and welcoming.
Superb atmospheric hotel and bar, bristling with character and off-beat charm. Stuffed with antiques, super-helpful owners, bears, birds and beer. In the heart of historic Pine Hill with its faded glories and kindly townsfolk. Different and delightful.
This is a great hotel . . .extremely cozy and full of interesting things to look at. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is great. Very welcoming and fun. And breakfast was really good too!
Charming chalet-style hotel perfectly located in the Catskills Park. We got there late (long drive) and the hosts had left an envelope with the keys and all the information we needed. Very nice !
Downstairs had a nice fireplace area for a family to hang out in the down time. And a nice restaurant which was attached to the hotel with great food. Also easy to get to
We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into while winding into Pine Hill on dark roads. But once we got there, we realized it was exactly where we needed to be.
Quiet spot in the Catskill Mountains. Simple but comfortable hotel. Our arrival was delayed until quite late but owners were very helpful in getting us set-up.
Quirkiness of the hotel… interesting and different. Owner had lots of stories to tell. Very attentive amd generous.Locals stopping by for a drink at the bar.
The room and hotel was neat and clean. The attached restaurant was a great little place to eat. The hotel was in a great location for what I had planned.
