Beautiful, serene property. Our room had a working fireplace. The place was roomy. The bathroom was beautiful with a jacuzzi tub. Yoga was perfect. The hotel restaurant was great. Staff were polite and accommodating. I have nothing bad to say. I hope to return one day.

The location is perfect. Close to shopping and restaurants. All within walking distance.
The music in the bar both nights was exceptional and we enjoyed every minute of it.
The wait staff in the bar area was truly incredible. Considering how busy and crowded that area was. They took great care of us.
We will be back again (soon) I hope.

The property is lovely. The hostess and the receptionist were very welcoming and accommodating. The hostess upgraded our room so we could be on the ground level at a modest increase in the room rate. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Highly recommend this Inn.

The room was lovely. It was a cool evening, and fire logs were available, but we decided to forgo a fire. The breakfast smelled heavenly, but we were in a hurry to get on the road. The room was wonderfully comfortable!

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable.
The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly

This was my second visit to this wonderful city, my first was 27 years ago! Last time we went rafting and horseback riding up on the ski slopes, breathtaking. This time we went Hot Air ballooning and it was spectacular and magical. I am a shopper so if you like to shop you've come to the right place. Tons of wonderful shops and galleries. Restaurants were excellent. I had done my research and booked everything in advance. Tons of great places for coffee and a lovely ice cream shop. Several things that were different from last time, Taos now has warmer nights in the summer, no need for fleece at night. Hiking boots really aren't necessary to walk around Taos Plaza. We dined outside once or twice and we were in sleeveless tops with sandals, would have been too cold to do this years ago. This is a lovely town and perfect for a weekend getaway. Oh the drive between Taos and Santa Fe is worth it, just for the breathtaking views.
This place is a wonderful place in Taos at a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, beds are VERY comfortable, nice hot pool - also open in winter.
But the actual highlight is the breakfast. It almost seems like a sumptuous European breakfast with many (freshly made) warm options. And….. you get real plates and cutlery which is very rare for the US.
Another nice detail are the wide selection of tees and coffees during the day - together with good quality nachos and cookies.
The hotel was old but clean and charming. The courtyard setting had plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy sitting outside your room. Signs were posted indicating masks required which made us feel safe. No ice machines, but Ice bucket could be filled by front desk staff. On site bar and restaurant were a nice addition. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was quite good. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in the old town part of Taos.
This inn is definitely one of a kind, all the rooms are individually decorated with antiques and works of art. We stayed in the Santiago room which has a Spanish theme. Although the inn is only a few minutes walk from Taos Plaza it is very quiet and parking on site is easy. Breakfast is only available at weekends but is delicious with a variety of cold items and a hot meal.
The close proximity (Across the street) to the Taos Plaza! The room, the hospitality and the owner (Paco) were fabulous. The historical significance of the Inn itself, gave us much information to our family’s cultural ties and exact location, now in New Mexico. Many festivities and magnificent shops! (Check out the lobby, with one of the oldest wells in Taos still on site!)
The property is absolutely amazing for a getaway. . While still
being close to the Taos Plaza the hotel seems secluded and surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. If available, I recommend getting a room with a fireplace as it adds to the ambiance at night. The daily breakfast is superb and sunsets are incredible.
Although this was the last property within walking distance of Taos, it was absolutely fine. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. This stay was one day after NM opened up for COVID. The hotel did a good job with coping with challenges. Because the dining room had not yet opened due to COVID, they offered us free snacks.
Loved that it feels hidden/removed from the main drag. The inn felt sheltered and quiet—which was great. Beautiful view of Taos Pueblo sacred mountain from back porch of our room. Excellent service. Friendly staff. All-electronic entry was perfect. Room was very clean. Provided plenty of towels. It is a character property.
Large two bedroom-two baths is as good as it gets for value in Taos. Excellent bar and dinner dining in a relaxing setting. Beautiful grounds, hot tub and fitness facility. A bit of a walk into town, ~ 10 minutes. Helpful, friendly staff.
This was our bone of contention…. everything about the hotel was great except the breakfast. The room was enticing, the food and the service were very, very poor. There was no value for money at all.
Charming small hacienda style hotel in Taos. Walking distance to the Plaza and museums. Morning coffee on the front porch was very nice. Friendly, clean, and comfortable.
The breakfast was exceptional. With a lot of construction in town, access to Taos Pueblo, the Gorge Bridge and Earthship Biostructure were very easy from the hotel.
