I absolutely LOVED Sante Fe. The downtown area is breathtaking. The architecture is stunning and the sculptures around town is so appealing. So many gift shops with authentic local art. Beautiful place.

Santa Fe is a destination for adult peace and happiness.
Santa Fe is a destination for adult peace and happiness. The vibe of friendly people, unique shopping and ancient spirituality makes this a great place to visit off season. Taking time to talk to people and experience their art and culture makes Santa Fe a place I return to over and over again every year

I think Santa Fe one of the most beautiful little cities in the world. It has everything! Friendly souls, good shopping, history, beautiful climate, walkability, variety of places to eat, beautiful countryside and just an intelligence which I find difficult to define; just people in touch with their environment. I would go back in a FLASH!

We happened to be here during balloon festival in Albuquerque...disappointing that we didn't see more balloons flying around. It was central to the places we wanted to visit and I was interested in going to the Santa Fe plaza. My only issue was the prices for everything were crazy high. Fortunately, the day we went to the plaza, they were having a celebration of indigenous people and there were a lot of vendors in the plaza that we shopped from. The stores in the plaza are pretty much all high end boutique style stores. Visited the Loretto Chapel ( must see if in the area) and wanted to visit the St Francis Basilica but they were closed the day we were there which I wished we would have known (note for travelers who want to go in-they are closed on Mondays). Was hoping to get back the next day, but just didn't have time.

Excellent chill :artistic vibe place. Roads are excellent.
Excellent chill :artistic vibe place. Roads are excellent. People are generally friendly. I would never understand why 200 stores would have the same turquoise and silver . Canyon ranch was great and the churches plus the garden of sculptures by Gib singelton was great. Numerous hiking places.
We reserved two rooms, one with kitchenette and one with fireplace. One on the lower level and one upstairs. The rooms were cute but the fireplace and in room coffee pot did not work. The included breakfast was simple self serve items like fresh fruit, yogurt, breads and cereal. The best part was the helpful property manager that checked us in. She was helpful with mapping out sites we wanted to see. The property is within walking distance of Old town Santa Fe and the railway art market.
Location, Location, Location! Loved that we were within walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants, the Railyard, Farmer’s Market, the Plaza. I have already recommended Hotel Santa Fe to a friend who plans to visit Santa Fe for the first time. Did not need the shuttle but if we were less mobile it would have been quite handy. I was there specifically there to ride the Santa Fe Century and this hotel is only blocks from the start/finish.
The location is perfect, a short walk to the Plaza and Canyon Rd., staff are friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast buffet offers delicious hot New Mexico specialities along with a variety of cold choices, the dinner menu is a bit limited, but the food is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished, the grounds are beautifully landscaped. I'll definitely stay here again on future visits to Santa Fe.
Great location. Only a couple blocks walk from the Amtrak station. Only two blocks from a Whole Foods grocery store. Under a mile walk to all the downtown museums and shops and sites around the Santa Fe plaza. Great housekeeping service and the bed very comfortable. You could adjust the heat/ac yourself. I never heard a sound from other rooms - and I stayed a week. A great value for a budget hotel. Would definitely stay again.
I really loved how clean and comfortable the rooms are. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly - on my first night in town, they recommended the best restaurants and bars to visit. Finally, I think this hotel is perfectly located: it is an easy five minute walk to the busier downtown area and the Plaza, but still set just outside so you’re out of the main hustle and bustle.
The property is well located. facilities ( we had a kitchen) superb. owners clearly take a great deal of time focussing on the little details. breakfasts are superb and can also buy coffees / ice cream out of hours. we considered this the best place we have stayed in NM, although clearly Santa Fe is more expensive than other areas and we paid up for this property.
Wonderful Hotel in Pueblo Style in the middle of town. Breakfast was excellent.
We also did the city bus tour starting right next to the hotel. super fun way to explore Santa Fe!
we really enjoyed our stay at the Loretto Hotel:)
The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable.
We had one room for a handicapped person (crouches). The room was spacious without any barriers.
Room was very large and it was great having a table and chairs to have breakfast in our room or for other meals/snacks. Bed was comfortable. Room and common areas were clean. A/C worked great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good for the hotels/motels on Cerillos and provides good value as opposed to staying closer to Santa Fe.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was well equipped. The courtyard looked super cozy. Unfortunately we were unable to make use of it due to the cold weather. The free parking is another bonus in Downtown Santa Fe. Within five minutes of walking you reach the Plaza and various museums and galleries.
We love staying St. Francis on our trips through Santa Fe. The hotel has an old world charm throughout the building. The rooms, although small, are charming and clean with a comfy bed and great linens. Maybe a few more hooks in the bathrooms would be helpfu. Of course staying near the Plaza is a plus.
Beautiful hotel that is a good representative of the traditional Santa Fe building style. We enjoyed the well crafted interior of the room ( real wood no cheap substitutes like in many new hotels). Most comfortable beds we have slept in during the entire trip. Very clean. Love it!
The best part about this hotel is when I left! there was homeless people doing drugs outside. the room smelled the front desk did not even recognize that I had a reservation there and they went ahead and charge my credit card without notifying me
The room was large and well appointed. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, so we could ride the bus into the historic part of Santa Fe without having to worry about the traffic or parking.
super location - 5-minute walk to downtown, also 5-minute walk to the only supermarket that I found during 1-weekstay in Santa Fe.
good equipement - with a frige practique if you appreciate a cool beer from time to time
Casa Culinaria is a nice cross between a boutique hotel and a VRBO. Very quiet, clean and well located for short walks to the Plaza, Canyon Rd. art galleries or the Railyard. The grounds were wonderful.
I loved the location within walking distance of the Santa Fe Plaza, tourist stops and lots of local restaurants. I loved having my dogs with me and the fact that the facility is so pet friendly.
The interesting location and central location was great. Walking distance to the heart of Santa Fe. Friendly staff. So much history surrounds you. Off street parking.
