Property was well kept and clean. But what we enjoyed the most was how close it was located to ski lift, restaurants, grocery store, and sports shops.

The price was great! Everything was clean and well set up. For those into skiing but on a budget I would definitely recommend! Although the season was over you could see how they make it a comfortable stay for skiers with fans, large fridge, heaters, and generous with towels and pillows in a good way!

Location! Rental equipment, ski lift and food - everything was within 2-minute walk. Very friendly staff. No breakfast but we found some fresh made cookies in the lobby- those cookies were better than a lot of “breakfast included” options we tried before, nice surprise, my son loved them.
The Econo Lodge hotel is located, providing easy access to many local points of interest including the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Carson National Forest.
Love Red River although April is not a great time to go.
Love Red River although April is not a great time to go. If you like quiet and amazing weather it’s ok. Lots of places are closed due to April being between ski and summer seasons. Some will open May 1 and others will not reopen until May 24th

This is a quaint little town with easy access to the lifts. The town is very easy to navigate and can be easily traversed by foot in 15 minutes from end to end. The ski resort does a wonderful job of grooming the slopes in the early morning that kept the surface from icing up.

My first time Red River and we went for a Memorial Day weekend motorcycle rally. Besides attending the rally, I would definitely like to come here for a soothing and relaxing getaway. Next time he able to check out the rest of what Red River has to offer other than the event that was happening on Main Street

Red River, NM is a home away from home mountain paradise...
Red River, NM is a home away from home mountain paradise nestled in those beautiful mountains. Have been traveling here since the mid 1980's. One of the best little mountain towns in North America in my opinion. Great outdoor activities available including, atv riding, 4wd off-roading, hiking, biking, fishing, horse back riding, etc. A wonderful experience each and every time.

We love the quaintness of Red River and the ease of getting to the ski area. The free shuttle was awesome, although we didn’t have a chance to use them. There are just enough restaurants and places to have a drink.

We stayed at Deer Lodge, perfect, clean, comfy, complete kitchen, the only issue was the shower the space was too small, good point they were pet friendly. We had dinner at Capo Pizza, excellent food. Next time I want to do the snowmobile. We didn;t have so much snow.
