Location was great went to flapjacks for breakfast.
We came from the Stowe area in Vermont. Lincoln is a good place to stay on the Kancamagus highway if you are coming from the West. Close to the Lost River Gorge and Flume Gorge. It's smaller than Conway on the east side of the highway, but not as crowded.

Like many other places, rent in Lincoln is high.
Like many other places, rent in Lincoln is high. Every place is hiring. Staff is low and I don't know how the many restaurants cope other than to close by 8:30 and not be open some week days. Bring your human kindness and be sure to enjoy yourself. There are things that need upkeep in Lincoln and there are giant castle like establishments taking over. I used to love it much more but can't say that I'll ever stop going. Make sure there are no big events during your stay that you are not attending, this will give you more free reign and less waiting. Enjoy!

1. Beautiful quaint city/town with plentiful opportunities for outdoor activities!
2. Delicious cuisine with a few vegan options. There’s a restaurant with a separate vegan menu. I wish there would be more vegan/vegetarian restaurants.
3. Kind people.

Lincoln is located at the beginning of the Kank highway and is just before Franconia Notch. Plenty to do in both locations. Very good restaurants. Very scenic location and great for outdoor adventures.

I like the area but definitely not the crowds and everything is over priced like any tourist trap area. Not really a lot of things to do that kids are interested in. Views are spectacular though. Whales Tales water park is a great place for everyone young and old as is Clark's Bears. Also a train that runs sometimes but a quirky schedule when I was last there.

My boyfriend and I usually visit 4 times a year but we've never visited in the spring time aka "mud season" I LOVED how LESS crowded everything was. Luckily, we came the weekend before a lot of places close for "spring cleaning". I would 100000% come in the Spring again. It may have been my favorite trip overall!
We stayed in the Baby Bear cabin, and it was exceptional - very clean and comfortable. The craftsmanship was top-notch and contributed to our feeling of staying in "the woods". At the same time, our cabin had everything we needed - oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and TV. Our host, Christina, was very helpful and had several good suggestions on sites to see/visit. Lincoln is a very central location for taking day trips to places in Northern/Central New Hampshire.
Location was ideal, allowed easy walking around Lincoln. Didn’t know about the walking path along river, super easy access to it, enjoyed very much! Amazingly quiet despite central location. Nice views of landscaping, forest and river from balcony. Adequate parking. Murphy bed was very comfortable. Made only breakfast there and kitchen had everything I needed. Had the indoor pool to myself, nearby jacuzzi and weight room seemed nice.
hotel has a rustic mountain feeling and decor that matches its great location in the kankamangus highway nearby everything in the white mountains, mounth washington, flume george, hikings, sky resorts, omni hotel etc, staff in the front very nice, nice little restaurant not too expensive inside the hotel, surprisingly good indoor pool, nice porches to be outside
Nice small motel & cabin lodging. Everything was ready when we arrived and Hilary was very welcoming. The location provided easy access to North Woodstock and Lincoln. You will need a vehicle to get around. That means the facility is very quiet and not in a heavy traffic area.
The location was centralized, 15 minutes away from a couple of activities we had planned. The site was surprisingly big, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor)
The hotel is quite old, the floors are crooked, but they managed to make it look nice.
King sized bed was very comfortable, room was clean. Nice mini fridge and freezer. It's a one star hotel so I'm not going to nitpick overmuch, you get what you pay for, so the things I didn't like are more observations than complaints.
We stayed there during the NH Highland Games at Lincoln. Very convenient distance to go to the games.
Wonderful owners - very personable who wanted to be sure our stay was pleasant - and it was!
We liked the larger room set up more like an apartment than a hotel. The facility has many amenities (pool - indoor & outdoor, hot tub, game room, laundry facilities, etc.)
The room was spotlessly clean with excellent heating and air-conditioning with extremely comfortable beds, and with an incredible hotel receptionist in Boja.
We chose Lincoln as our base for touring the area. Thus the location proved to be very good. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful
