Petoskey is incredibly picturesque. It's also very busy with a great deal of traffic, but it flows well. We were one mile from downtown, which is full of historic buildings. We had an early dinner at the City Park Grill, which was amazing. Petoskey is also a very clean city and although a famous tourist destination, we didn't feel it was overly crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Super darling place to visit, didn't want to leave. I could live there year round, thanks to the beauty and the beaches. Shopping is great with so many places to visit. Locals were very friendly.

Although the weather went from rainy and dull to blizzard in two days, it’s clear that
Petoskey can be a wonderful destination. Shopping, wineries and dining choices are close by and abundant. The Petoskey Farms Winery, City Park Grill and the Mitchell Street Pub were our favorites.

This is a great small town in the water with lots of options the Apple Tree Inn is quiet (we were on the top floor) but honestly the bed was so incredibly comfortable and we are picky!!
The free breakfast was adequate with lots of options for the size of the Inn.
The water is beautiful with a view from your room with a balcony very peaceful and a free limousine offered from the Inn! Can’t beat that!
Getting around town is pretty easy with quaint shops downtown with good quality.
We ate at a local place and food was good and had a BC pizza which was good as well.
I will return to petoskey again. 😊

We were exploring places in our state that we hadn't been to before. Petoskey was one of the places. We drove around and looked at the sights. We also went to a couple beaches to look for Petoskey stones. Other than that, we didn't really see anything that we wanted to do or any other places we wanted to go to.
We have decided to visit again sometime soon and bring our young grandson who is a "rock connoisseur" for a day of rock hunting.

Petoskey is a beautiful town on the waters for Northern Michigan. The town just blocks away from the Days Inn is quaint and loaded with restaurants and bars featuring everything from coffee and breakfasts to bars and pubs.
The room was clean and nice. Jacuzzi large enough for two was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was quiet-no footsteps from above or loud voices from the hallway or "neighbors". Breakfast offerings were eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cereals, muffins, fruit, etc. It was good.
The hotel is close to everything. Shopping, wine tasting, casino, tunnel of trees, beautiful area to visit.
Hotel was conveniently located to where we needed to go. The breakfast was basic but the kids liked the waffles. The room had 2 sinks which was convenient with 5 people in a room. The fridge worked well and was large enough to keep drinks a a few snack cold during our stay.
Location was great. I almost forgot that the hotel was a Best Western. It was nice and warm, and it had plenty of room. the pool was large. My understanding was that the pool was heated, but it turned out that it was not heated. Hot tub was nice too.
Property was beautiful! Perfect for our family weekend getaway. Being so close to downtown, it was so convenient to enjoy all Petoskey has to offer. We will definitely stay again.
We had easy access to town and to the lake. We really enjoyed the outside seating area with the fire pit and the fireplace.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful.
In a sweet, picturesque setting. Amazing *complimentary* breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff. Big, comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely historic hotel. We’ll be back!
Clean, relatively comfortable. Typical hotel breakfast. No hot foods (eggs, sausage/gravy, sausage or waffles), unless you cooked it yourself. Not complaining, just stating.
A good value stay to visit Petoskey. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. The complimentary limo service into town is a HUGE plus!
This was a quaint little inn with an awesome view. The owner was wonderful, friendly, interested in our travels and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.
