Its a very nice hotel. Beds are super comfy. Grant Dodge is an amazing worker. He is always nice
Petoskey is incredibly picturesque. It's also very busy with a great deal of traffic, but it flows well. We were one mile from downtown, which is full of historic buildings. We had an early dinner at the City Park Grill, which was amazing. Petoskey is also a very clean city and although a famous tourist destination, we didn't feel it was overly crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Super darling place to visit, didn't want to leave.
Super darling place to visit, didn't want to leave. I could live there year round, thanks to the beauty and the beaches. Shopping is great with so many places to visit. Locals were very friendly.

Although the weather went from rainy and dull to blizzard in two days, it’s clear that
Petoskey can be a wonderful destination. Shopping, wineries and dining choices are close by and abundant. The Petoskey Farms Winery, City Park Grill and the Mitchell Street Pub were our favorites.

This is a great small town in the water with lots of options the Apple Tree Inn is quiet (we were on the top floor) but honestly the bed was so incredibly comfortable and we are picky!!
The free breakfast was adequate with lots of options for the size of the Inn.
The water is beautiful with a view from your room with a balcony very peaceful and a free limousine offered from the Inn! Can’t beat that!
Getting around town is pretty easy with quaint shops downtown with good quality.
We ate at a local place and food was good and had a BC pizza which was good as well.
I will return to petoskey again. 😊

We were exploring places in our state that we hadn't been to before. Petoskey was one of the places. We drove around and looked at the sights. We also went to a couple beaches to look for Petoskey stones. Other than that, we didn't really see anything that we wanted to do or any other places we wanted to go to.
We have decided to visit again sometime soon and bring our young grandson who is a "rock connoisseur" for a day of rock hunting.

Petoskey is a beautiful town on the waters for Northern Michigan. The town just blocks away from the Days Inn is quaint and loaded with restaurants and bars featuring everything from coffee and breakfasts to bars and pubs.
Petoskey is one of the best historic towns in Michigan. Very scenic, great shopping and dining, and access to winter and summer recreational activities. The Bay View Inn is a part of that rich history, so staying there makes the visit all the more enjoyable. Great breakfast served on site. Lovely relaxing sitting room with a bar makes for a great place to relax before retiring for the evening.
The room was clean and nice. Jacuzzi large enough for two was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was quiet-no footsteps from above or loud voices from the hallway or "neighbors". Breakfast offerings were eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cereals, muffins, fruit, etc. It was good.
The hotel is close to everything. Shopping, wine tasting, casino, tunnel of trees, beautiful area to visit.
The room was clean, the gentleman at the front desk was nice, it had a grab and go breakfast which was good. I really have no complaints. It's no 5 star hotel but it serves its purpose and is good if you're on a budget. It's also very close to downtown Petoskey, Walmart, multiple restaurants and lots of other stores. I would recommend.
The views were amazing! The fall colors were at peak, and it was beautiful to see off the balcony of our room!
The staff was super friendly. Fresh cookies and water when you check in. The best part was the free limousine service the hotel offered! We went up to the area to celebrate my birthday so it was an awesome suprise!
The room was comfortable, and we had a balcony looking out onto the bay. It was quiet, even though we were close to an elevator. The breakfast area was very cute and bright. The sausage gravy was better than the usual hotel gravy, and actually had some sausage bits in it. The front desk staff was polite and helpful.
Extremely well kept inside and out. Close to main artery in and out of Petoskey Michigan but sits back in a slightly wooded setting. It doesn’t feel like you’re staying right on the highway. Shell gas station between the Hotel and state rout. Easy fuel up on departure. Pet friendly
Location was good. Everything else we experienced was horrible because it was not communicated by anybody that the hotel was under full construction. If you love to ingest paint fumes and dust with you and your family, this is the place for you.
We had easy access to town and to the lake. We really enjoyed the outside seating area with the fire pit and the fireplace.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful.
A good value stay to visit Petoskey. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. The complimentary limo service into town is a HUGE plus!
Beautiful view of the bay across the street. Oners very friendly and helpful. Room was well stocked with towels. Close to many plases and Petoskey State paark
This was a quaint little inn with an awesome view. The owner was wonderful, friendly, interested in our travels and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The correspondence from the hotel before we arrived was much appreciated. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional.
