Bethel is a cute little town that seems to have plenty of goods and services available if you are traveling. Unfortunately, I arrived late on a Sunday afternoon and left on Monday, so many restaurants were closed already.

Attempted to check in and the office was close. Had to go to another motel. Contacted the owner after I returned home and was tolf she would refund my fee. She did not. Contacted her again a week later and she told me she had thought about it and would only refund half my cost. I agreed but she did not refund that either. I do not recommend this motel to anyone.

Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant in the hotel.
Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant in the hotel. The room is spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom is large, clean, modern and is well lit, which is a rarity in hotel rooms. We also appreciate the heat in the bathroom - cold bathrooms are so awful. Bonus - Keurig coffee maker in the room!

Quiet, beautiful, delightful tho limited shopping and warm attitude by everyone. Excellent restaurants and ambience. One of the most beautiful small towns in Maine has something for everyone - except handy coffee-on-the-go! Exquisite 100 yr old hotel, golf course surrounded by lovely hills & mountains.
Closes up early!
The locally owned motel was an older motel that had been renovated. It was located close to Sunday River and Bethel. There wasn't any restaurants close to the motel, but a short drive to several. The shower was great and towels thick and fluffy. Pretty much plain rustic motel. Good heating system and extra blanket. There was a fire pit and central room called an Annex that had a kitchen for your use. Good internet and Satellite TV.
Wonderful stay and exceptional service! We arrived late but the owners called and let us know where to find keys, location of the room. The hotel itself is in a great location and was a steal during a holiday weekend. When we left, one of our kids forgot his watch in the room, so they called us to let us know they had it and then came out to bring the watch out to us even though the office was closed. Absolutely above and beyond!
The Holidae House was such a warm and lovely stay in Bethel. John and Jeannette were gracious hosts that provided expert service, a lovely Victorian style B&B, and great breakfast! They shared great recommendations for our stay including where to get outdoor equipment and where to eat.
As dog lovers they also lets us meet and spend some time with their furry friends! We so enjoyed ourselves an hope to be back at some point.
The owners are really nice people, the bed was very comfortable, towels were fluffy, room very clean. 2 chairs to set in room, big table room had everything you needed. Could get coffee anytime, common kitchen for guest to use. They really renovated it very well highly recommend.Best hotel we stayed in from NC to Maine.
Great location on Bethel's Main Street anf close to many restaurants, coffee shops, banks and a grocery store. We loved the parlor with its antique furniture. The owners made us feel like we were at home. John recommended a visit to the nearby Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, which I enjoyed.
Once they switched our room, we were happy. The new room was in the main lodge and was clean and nice. This room looked like the online pictures and was worth the nightly fee. The inn location is great - near the little downtown and close to Sunday River.
Great location in Bethel. We used it as a launching point to hike Old Speck in nearby Grafton State Park. No service people on site, you check in with a code which was very convenient. We had an end unit with windows so that was nice too.
Breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect for skiing at Sunday River and being in the town of Bethel. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. Plus, there were afternoon goodies, like pineapple upside cake and cookies.
Professional courtesy and cleanliness. Upgraded to bigger room! Quiet and convenient location. Great value and delicious breakfast too for excellent price.
Working are way back home stayed here for one night. Apartment was very spacious reasonable priced. Hotel has Pool, hot tub and sauna. Would stay again.
