I was here for business, but also made it a meeting place for other family members to meet up with me. We all booked our rooms separately, and once we arrived and they found out we were family meeting up, they rescheduled our rooms close together to make it more convenient for us. There were very nice eateries close to motel. Excellent service from motel and restaurants. Very pleasant trip.

    The Waffles were great.

The Waffles were great. All bread products tasted dry and old. I did receive extra pillows when I asked. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The walls were scrapped up, there was extreme water damage on wall, closet door & in closet. The bedside table lamp did not work, nor did the outlet on it's base. (I told them at the desk. They said nothing & did nothing.) Night desk attendant stood right in front of the front door, on her phone, smoking, in holey clothes (and I don't mean jeans). I only knew she worked there because she asked if we were checking in. The room was more or less surface cleaned. But it felt dirty. It took me hours to fall asleep, I was afraid roaches would be crawling out. Fortunately, I saw none. I'm sorry to say this, but I wouldn't stay there again, even if it was free.

We were in Davenport only as an overnight stop on our trip. We had a great dinner at the Shed Restaurant as recommended at the hotel’s front desk and spent a quiet night slept well. We were off early the next morning.

I came here to visit my daughter and two grandchildren.

I came here to visit my daughter and two grandchildren. I’ve stayed at other Country Inn and Suites in Dubuque, IA and other states and HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED the grossness of a room until now. Room 207 is gross. The attendant didn’t seem concerned about switching my room or even saying I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I wish I would have spoken up more but was afraid of a confrontation. Check that your room looks like pics advertised first. Pull back the sheets to ensure housekeeping didn’t make up the bed from a previous guest. Blood stained chair and other unknown substances as well on the CURTAINS. Just check your room. Get another or your money back. I’m hoping to get a discount because it wasn’t worth the money.

I was particularly pleased to find an extra blanket and pillow already available in my room. This alone would make me choose this motel again for my next stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us restaurant suggestions, told of the farmers' market fair down on the river front, and was able to direct us to some antique stores. We chose to eat at Duck City Bistro. It was within walking distance. The food was great, and it was more of an experience than just dinner. The hotel breakfast was delicious and worth the money. The whole weekend was lovely and romantic.

Check in went okay. Nice lady on reception. We had a Queen Room with 2 beds. Room was very nice, clean, tidy and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom, it was larger than most. It looked like the fittings had recently been replaced. The taps and shower head etc were very clean and shiny. All in all, we liked this hotel, but it was let down by lack of staff.

The best low budget hotel I have ever stayed in the US: very clean, and very well designed with functional rooms and bathrooms. There is also easy parking and access from the freeway. Most important: they allow dogs and there is a nice dog park 5 min away! Perfect one night stay for road trip.

It was super clean from the lobby to the rooms, and everything was up-to-date and in good repair. The staff were so friendly and capable—I was impressed by every interaction with them. I've stayed at a few hotels around the Quad Cities, but this is far and away the nicest property in town.

The breakfast was perfect. It lasted from 7 to 10 o'clock, there was plenty and a large selection, and the waitress even filled the containers on the counter 10 minutes before 10 o'clock. Excellent accommodation to relax for a day or while passing through. I recommend!

Quiet, slept really well. Best breakfast of all our 14 nights of hotels. We usually look at free breakfast offerings and just walk away for a Starbucks but this time we tucked in and really enjoyed it. Great job!

I did not like anything about this hotel. The photos online must be from their 1997 grand opening because the rooms were horribly dirty, broken and patched up everywhere. The floors were not even level.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown close by the Figge art musuem. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is in a lot across from the hotel - you'll get wet if it rains!
