I so much enjoyed my two-week stay at Apart Ris Gosrki Kotar in Crni Lug. A beautiful settlement next to Risnjak Nacionalni Park in Primorsko Goranska County. I haven't seen the wolf, the bear or the lynx 😊, but the Park takes your breath away. The owners, a typical serious, nice, old Croatian family, did their best to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I felt so poor that I couldn’t communicate with the owners because of my limited Croatian language skills. I’m in love with this gorgeous country and the generosity of the Croatian people.

Anton & Marina were excellent hosts! Great warm welcome and guide to the room, friendly to talk with, and their dog is very friendly! Lovely place that is quiet and in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend when staying near Crni Lug!

Spacious, warm and comfortable. Lots of natural light. Steps away you are in nature. Saw 3 deer nearby when I walked my dog on the trails above the house. Just stunning. Covered parking space and owner ensured snow was cleared before I left the house during the day. Owners also treated me to palacinke (crepes) which was a nice and unexpected treat. Wonderful people.

Great place to stay if you want to spend your days hiking and being away from urban areas. The grocery store is openMonday to Saturday all day and you can get anything you need there, so you don't have to bring groceries with you. People are genuinely friendly and happy to invite you into their home for a coffee or rakija :-D but also to recommend beautiful places in the area to visit.
