Nova Varos is small city close to the mountain Zlatar, It's good location if you want to meet Serbian West part , and If you nature lower Nova Varos can be nice start point for your trip. Maybe better find some accomodation directly on some house or cabin on Zlatar. Place what I suggest to visit is Uvac, Zlatar mountain there is few hiking trails, Spotnica Waterfalls,MilanSerbia - 8.0Scored 8.0

I used it twice as a stop over for my trip to Adriatic coast. For that is well eqiped. You can find any supply you my need or forgot. its very close to famous turist spots like \zlatar or Zlatibor. It wouln't be my holiday destination per se.AkiljCanada - 10Scored 10
It was a nice experience especially with the locals who are...
It was a nice experience especially with the locals who are extremely helpful and hospitable. The city itself is located in a valley which is typical for the towns in this regions surrounded with the nearby mountains such as Zlatar (only 2km far away) which is worth visiting for a long walks and stunning views. I would highly recommend a visit to a canyon of Uvac river as a daily excursion, then etno selo Vraneša for a delicious food and enjoying a nature or attending a swimming pool and also restaurant Sidro for fish specialties.ivka7Serbia
