I stayed here to visit Orava castle. It was pretty close so it was way to get there.
I was planning to go to the station by taxi but the owner was really kind, he took me there and it was really helpful because I had a big luggage. Moreover, he asked staff of the station to bring up my luggage into the train which was also helpful.
The room was cozy and they provide extra towels which was nice!
His young teenage daughter told me instructions instead of the owner. She was really nice and the instructions were perfect.

Very relaxing comfortable place in the middle of the nature. There are a few animals (chickens, dogs, cats) around so the kids can have fun as soon as they walked out of the cabin. Good breakfast, restaurant available on site, personnel were very friendly.

The nicest place I have stayed at for that price - ever. The room was larger than I expected, immaculate, well designed, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was large and squeaky clean. The bed was large and very comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. The kind owner met me at the entrance, showed me around and allowed me to extend my checkout time a bit.
I almost booked an additional night just to relax.

About location, it is really near by centrum of Oravsky podzamok and also castle or Orava heart are near by. It is a nice walk and beautiful sceneries especially during evening walks, when castle is fully lighted.

The hotel is in the city center, an attached restaurant that also serves as a dining room. Everything here is clean, quiet, the staff is amazing, always smiling, kind, always offering their help to the guests. No elevator but not many stairs to climb. We arrived at midnight, a lovely guy was waiting for us and helped us settle into the rooms. The food is wonderful, chef Mario is amazing in his cooking.

Orava Castle is well maintained and staffed and well worth visiting for a day. The town is also very nice to walk around. Many nice restsurants. One day is enough, unless you want to vacation in a quiet mountain town with few activities.

It's a very well organized and managed, clean place. Sure- it is not five stars but I doubt I could have wished for more. Well located, convenient, with helpful staff. Breakfast (included in my case) was fresh and very tasty. When you are there- ABSOLUTELY try their halushki, they are phenomenal (and they also cry of freshness, which is not always the case). Close to castle and to raft stop- which is also nice

So beautiful and peaceful. Lots of nice places to walk, the castle is cool. There’s not much to do in the town, I would only spend one or two nights, unless you plan on exploring the surrounding areas.
