Our hotel was charming and unique. Would love to come here in the winter to enjoy the cool air. It was very hot in July.

The city of Karpenisi is great, with tasteful food and welcoming people.
Unfortunately the choices aren't too many to choose between food and drink.
It is very easy to get around Karpenisi by feet but also by car.

I realize Karpenisi is adjacent to a ski resort, but I go there in the late spring and early autumn because it's such a lovely place all by itself. Hilly, narrow twisty streets, beautiful old buildings, cafes and squares, friendly people. It's as enjoyable as the old cities of Nafplion or Arachova, but not spoiled by throngs of foreign tourists. There are beautiful mountains, forests, lakes and villages nearby, but because I like Karpenisi itself, I just kept my car parked for the four days I recently visited.

Karpenisi seems to be the ideal family mountain destination.
Karpenisi seems to be the ideal family mountain destination. Lots of family-friendly places both in town and the surrounding villages. Getting to Karpenisi requires around an hour of non easy going driving. Mikro and Megalo Horio outside Karpenisi are must-go destinations. River Art Cafe, Saloon cafe are very nice akd very kid friendly.

The town is very clean & the people are friendly.
The town is very clean & the people are friendly. But, it's the country side that holds all the glamor. Using Karpanissi as a base head out into the hills for some fantastic scenery. This year (2019), especially because we've had so much rain everything is ***GREEN***.
I also hear that there is skiing in the area but, as I'm allergic to snow, I didn't experience it myself.
One of the most beautiful weekends spent in nature! Challet was beautiful, super clean, cozy with fireplace and all amenities. It is located in the forest with beautiful views, fresh air, real gem to spend few days in nature. Homemade delicious breakfast, very cozy lounge to relax, playroom for the kids, amazing! But above all it was the hospitality of Ms. Ersi and her daughter Lydia who made us feel as we were visiting family and not staying in a hotel. So warm, polite, friendly and helpful, no words to describe! Cannot wait to return back!
Breakfast was exceptional! Location is spectacular with the views and the feeling of coziness and luxury coming back to the hotel grounds is wonderful. The staff were all so kind and amazing to offer anything we needed. Super nice is the fact that the hotel is 100% kid and pet friendly, this adds a lot of value especially that it's a boutique hotel. Thank you to all for a one-of-a kind, delightful stay!
Rooms were quite ok.
A typical breakfast, but ok.
At the city center.
Overall, a vfm hotel.
Staff polite.
Parking.. you should be aware that karpenisi city center has a lack of parking lots. There are some public places that offer free parking. However there is a medium possibility to have a hard time to find a parking seat.
This is of course NOT directly related to the hotel
An excellent hotel with an outstanding view! Ms Eva was an excellent hostage that provided us with guidance and recommendations for restaurants and activities. You can also book a trip for panta vrexei gorge. Overall the room was great and with amenities for breakfast to prepare it in the room and enjoy it on the balcony! The location is also great and 5 minutes from the center.
We (family of 5) stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Rula the hotel manager was very, friendly and helpful. She arranged a local guide (who took us to a full day trip in the mountains and wonderfull river), recommended local restaurants and arranged great breakfast to start our day.
The hotel is in a very quite area, great view of the mountains all around.
The owner is very friendly and the location gives beautiful views over the town and the surrounding mountains. The town centre is a 10-minute walk away but it is steep. We had a spacious and comfortable room (with tea, coffee and toasted sandwich making facilities) and a big balcony on which to enjoy those views. Easy parking on road outside the hotel.
THE VIEW! incredible location, you can see the entire valley below from the huge room windows. The hotel is very clean, well designed and had a great breakfast. Staff was very kind and attentive.
We did not go to the spa but the room itself was very spacious and had full kitchen.
Cute little boutique hotel for a get away in Karpenisi. Cleaned, nice staff, Breakfast was nice and they offer freshly squeezed orange juice. Nice touch.
The location is great! 3 minutes walking from the main square and you have a place for parking right in front of the hotel.
The hotel is good & breakfast was excellent. We had to cancel our second night, Booking.com contacted the owner to confirm our request for cancelation, and the owner confirmed but decided to keep 50% of the remaining night, not cool
Clean and nice place at the center of the town. They gave us another room upon arrival with better view. The hosts were friendly and ready to satisfy every request we made. There is parking space around the hotel.
Helpful and kind staff. Clean, spacious and tasteful room. Very decent breakfast. Fantastic fireplace in the lounge area and in our room. Probably the best hotel to stay in the wider area of Karpenisi.
Nice facilities, very clean and comfortable, very nice location in the town. Although there is no parking in the hotel we could find easily space to park the car outside.
