The house is new and clean. Owner (Michael) is so nice, you can socialize with him pleasantly. The place's view is amazing. Water is running 7x24 in the river stream, which you can see from your rooms.
North Vancouver is for people loving outdoor activities such as hiking and going to beaches. The house is not far (15-minute driving) from the downtown of Vancouver.

For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. Otherwise the facilities met with our previous expectations. lovely view and great kitchen facilities with several breakfast options.

North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

We chose it because we have family in the area but they do not have space to put us up.
Having been many times since 1997 there are few places we have not visited. This time chose to visit Grouse Mountain again and Deep Cove. Went to the Shipyards on a Friday evening and dined at the Tap and Barrel.
The bus services are excellent.

North Vancouver was not the problem.
North Vancouver was not the problem.
The location I booked was sold as a B&B. It was not a B&B I have experienced. It was more a hostel. The room had very old furniture, ditty window, blinds and curtains. The kitchen had boxes and boxes of cereals open I don't know since when! A fruits bowl with green bananas and apples. I had asked for gluten free breakfast and never got a reply.

Rooms were very clean, and sheets were nice and crisp!
Rooms had mini fridge, microwave, mini coffee maker, and mini TV. It's a dated motel, but it looks like they are renovating one side. It was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. TV could be updated along with the mattresses.
But we enjoyed our restful sleep!! We would definitely stay again and do recommend this hotel. There was a breakfast available from 7-9 am. It was very bust best to get there early.
Despite being in North Vancouver, the hotel is near to major highways. Getting to other parts of the city is very easy--just a cheap Uber or taxi ride away. The neighbourhood is walkable and fairly quiet except the main street running along the front of the hotel. There were good restaurants and amenities nearby, but no night life to speak of. The hotel room was well-furnished with comfy beds, quiet AC, a microwave and a mini fridge.
I'd booked this hotel on spec as an overnight before flying home from YVR, with no expectations. Turned out the hotel was excellent, and brilliantly located overlooking the North Vancouver harbour regeneration on to the skyline of Vancouver across the bay. The room was very comfortable, the restaurant was fabulous, and the service was superb. This is a very nice hotel.
We'd booked a king suite and the room was enormous! The decor in the room and the hotel itself is very dated but everywhere is clean and tidy. There is a restaurant in the hotel and also a pub serving food on site but apart from that there's nowhere to eat without driving. The hotel is in a good position for getting out of Vancouver.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the staff greeted us extremely warmly and were so excited to see us. Upon discovering we were on a trip for our 20th anniversary, they upgraded our room to a full view for the pier!!!! It was absolutely gorgeous. The room was super comfortable and the area was amazing.
The proprietors were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good although only sweet options were available. The location of the B&B is perfect if you plan on hiking in North Vancouver. It is about a 30 min ride per bus into Downtown which is also good.
This is a nice mini house in the back yard. It has a full kitchen, a big sofa bed for rest/watching tv and a bedroom. The house locates on a quite neighborhood. Not far from tourist attractions in north Vancouver. House host Margaret is very friendly.
The view over Vancouver and Vancouver Island was fantastic. The location is high on North Vancouver mountains, and in an area where there is few cars. There is even a small river/creek next to the property which gives nice sounds and vibes.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in North Vancouver and fabulous view of Vancouver and English Bay. Nice large bright kitchen area available for all guests to use.
The location was perfect for our North Vancouver visit. It is located on a direct bus to Lonsdale Quay and the seabus. It is a lovely walk to Edgemont village and Marine Dr..
If you get a good price it is really worth staying there. You are amidst the most vibrant North Vancouver area and the seabus to downtown Vancouver is just 2 min walk.
Great location and a very modern design hotel. The location is also great. You can avoid the crazy traffic in downtown Vancouver if you stay in this hotel.
