Nelson has great character. Beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and an amazing setting on. kootenay Lake. The only issue we had was parking was difficult to find but then, it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it’s not always so bad.

It is beautifully situated and the setting is picturesque. However the town is not pretty with too many ugly buildings of an industrial nature near the shoreline.

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all within a couple of blocks. The river walk to the park and beach was lovely. Even the scenery from the car journey to get to Nelson was fabulous!

Nice little town.
Nice little town. Historic downtown with shops and restaurants, some of them open till late at night. Beautiful beaches close by. Taghum Beach, Six mile beach (with white sand -careful do not go and swim on the tip of the beach!), Kokanee Creek Provincial Park Beach are the most beautiful.
The location of this Hotel is perfect! We parked our vehicle and didnt move it till we checked out. Everything is in walking distance, restaurants, coffee shops, shops. The room was comfortable and clean. It does tend to be slightly noisy when people leave the bars...and it has a lot of vehicle traffic during the day. I loved Nelson ! The town is beautiful and people are very friendly!
Nelson is a lovely town, with plenty to see and do. The property was very close to the town, but not disrupted by the noise or people visiting. Having off street parking was vital, as we saw very strict parking enforcement officers in action. There was plenty of space in our rooms, with a very well equipped kitchen area; everything we needed was there.
We’ve stayed here both times we’ve visited Nelson because the rooms are a great size, they’re comfortable, pet friendly and the staff are great.
It’s affordable and easy to get into during the shoulder season, we love this little motel stop during our road trip. It’s also across the bridge from the beautiful park where you can walk your pup.
The location of the resort is excellent and the staff were very helpful and accommodated our changes readily despite being short staffed. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant has lovely lake views and friendly service. We shortened our stay due to smoke but obviously the hotel could do nothing about the fires.
My husband & I road our motor bikes from Fort McMurray Alberta to Nelson BC. The Hotels location was perfect for as to park the bikes & stroll Baker street. Excellent day of exploring brew pubs & restaurants plus the locally owned stores.
Funky little town with exceptional customer services everywhere we went.
The location of the Savoy Hotel can't be beat. It's right on Baker Street in the heart of Nelson. The room is nicely furnished and modern. The staff were great and the check-in/out process was very easy. The rooftop veranda is nice, we didn't get in the hot tub but it looked like a great soak.
Great location, only 5minutes driving to Nelson.
Room was clean and bed comfortable enough.
Nice view of the lake from our room. Staff friendly and available for the check in.
Enough parking spots, except last day someone parked sideways and took four parking spots.
Feels like a really high end hostel (lounge, rooftop deck, fridge for guests to use, bunk bed) but with the benefits of a good hotel (private bathroom, really clean, comfortable beds, good restaurant and bar). The combination fits with the vibe of Nelson.
Beautiful property, price was amazing, owners were so nice and accommodating, view was spectacular. awesome location between Nelson and Ainsworth and close to the ferry. Probably one of the cleanest and nicest places I’ve ever stayed. We will be back!
Nice quiet location tucked into the top of the hill but still close to everything.. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly welcoming staff.. As a bonus, the shower had good water pressure which is not always the case at hotels.
Excellent location
Down the street from the Hume Hotel
Cosy apartment on the top floor with slanted ceilings
Good heating and cooling
Perfect for a winter get away
I loved the explanation of the name "Mistisos"
Perfect location with views of the lake and access to a beach. Nelson is a short drive away. The suites are comfortable with small kitchens. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been wonderful.
We have stayed at the Hume many times over the years and found it to be an excellent hotel. The staff is warm and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Their restaurant is excellent.
Great central location in Nelson; excellent value for money particularly compared to other hotel stay options in Nelson; friendly reception staff; relaxed unpretentious vibe
Excellent customer service and a clean comfortable room and a lot to do within the building itself..Its also located in a perfect location in Nelson. BC
Room was upgraded as the room I booked was a bed and sofa bed and the manager thought it would be more comfortable for us. Close to the heart of Nelson.
