I traveled with my dog and she was able to walk freely all around. We were very glad to find this beautiful dog friendly ecohotel and hope to be back. Santiago was the reason we arrived to the ecohotel, with excellent precheckin service. They arranged all the transfers for us (reasonable prices) and a great massage with Luna. The evening at the beach was beautiful. And the sky open shower was an awesome surprise, I loved it!!

I had terrible neck pain after that. the menu was limited, and one day we ordered some ribs, which were awful; we almost had to beg for us to cancel that order since we tried two ribs out of six, just to make sure I wasn't crazy. But then, my family agreed eating was dangerous. It's an average hotel. Nothing special for the money we paid. There is a beach, but you can't get in because it is too wild, so not good for kids.

The common area and rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel has access to the beach, even though the sea current was dangerous during our stay. Breakfast was good and the menu offered a wide range of possibilities for both lunch and dinner. Tayrona park is only a ten-minute drive away and you can walk by the sea-side to either Buritaca or Valencia waterfalls.Maria AlejandraFrance

We paid the same price for a double room with an en suite for 2 people as one night in a 23 bed dorm for one person in El Rio. Feels like a hotel/ guesthouse and is super clean and comfy. Can either get a Moto taxi to el Rio in 4 mins or it's about a 25 min walk. We still spend the days and evening in El Rio for free and came back here to sleep. Totally recommend and don't worry, Moto taxis are still available all night. Room had Aircon and a TV

When you enter you get an electronic bracelet and everything you order automatically gets added to your bill - we loved it, we felt like we were in an all-inclusive hotel (just we paid for everything at the end). There are activities and tours you can book through the hostel, we did the tubing (they have twice a day) and it was cool.
